There is no such thing as same sex parents. It takes a male and a female to make a baby. The book belongs in the fiction section or in the toilet.

If the book does make it to the library again I am sure I have borrowed books in the past that have never been seen again, just saying. I wonder how many times they would have to try to replace it? And how long would it take to get a new one in, only to be borrowed and lost each time. Not saying you should do that, just saying......it happens.

Equality Australia legal director, Gh........ ........ (unpronounceable name) stated concerning the banning of the book "Same Sex Parents", -- " The attempt to erase these families from library shelves is disgraceful as is any suggestion that they are anything other than loving and nurturing environments for kids."

Cumberland mayor, Liz Lake, is furious: " It's an appalling decision and I'm deeply saddened by it."

Last February the Cumberland Council voted against 'Drag Queen Story Times' in its libraries.

What kind of people - councillors - are these five who voted FOR that book to be displayed in their public library?

This "same sex marriage" (a euphemism for an odious perversion) ideology is not merely a religious matter, but a flagrant violation of the natural order.

Would John Graham equally insist to promote books like "Mein Kampf", "Mao's Little Red Book", "The Dialectic Historical Marxism" and "Stalin, volume1, 2, and 3"?

Tasmania, even years ago, has banned all Bibles from public libraries.

I guess all the books you mention except the bible are taught by our universities

I also guess the books like Tombstone or Mao's Great Famine, that both document the deliberate starvation and death of more than 42 million people during 1958 to 1962 in China by Mao, the greatest mass murder in history, are not in any public library.

I also guess Alexander Solzhenitsyn's books, The Gulag Archipelago, documenting some of the 65 million people murdered by Stalin are also not on the shelf.

Or even novels by Tom Rob Smith about the 7- 10 million Ukranians starved to death by Stalin, who stole all the vast harvests to sell, leaving the people to starve or resort to cannibalism as they also did in China to try and stay alive.

But that's all OK as long as woke and sexual perverts are promoted at taxpayer expense.

Australia's universities, as well as other countries, have long since abandoned genuine education and have become a trap where propaganda is drummed into the brains of students. We're in a nightmare we can't wake up from.

I have said this before "how can anyone engage in sodomy be proud of and celebrate it . People attend that "gathering of sodomites" to laugh at their antics as people of an earlier generation laughed at the circus parades. They aint going out of respect you stupid people.

Typical response from one of the committed adherents to the Holy Orders of the Alphabet Sex Cult.

Always bending over to meet the deranged demands of a debauched and degenerate denomination. Or is that demon-nation? Either or... both work.

As a resident of this council, I applaud their courage! These books do not represent the majority of families who make up the council. Please leave our kids alone.

Here's an idea - just put the book back on the shelf as they have demanded, then get somebody to 'borrow' it out... indefinitely!

Brilliant!!!

Just keep 'borrowing' until the cows come home. It'll only cost a few bucks in overdue fines. Much less than $700,000.

The Cumberland Council represents the people of Cumberland. It's great to see that Councillors have listened to their constituents and made the right decision. I'm fed up with being bullied into accepting what the minority want which is abnormal. It's about time the majority ruled again!

Good on the Cumberland Council for debating an issue to which it’s constituents have raised concerns about.

What a disgrace the Arts Minister is threatening to withhold funds. Am so sick of the alphabet mafia trying to shove its lifestyle into the face of kids.

On another note, there was one Muslim Labor councillor who voted to ban the books, while the other Labor Councillors voted to keep the SS books.

Go Mo? Or Go Ho?

Tough choice for the Left.

More Jewish filth on our public library shelves.

If the council would have accepted that book, would the Muslim councillor thrown it off the roof?

Threatening funding cuts!!! Anyone would think he’s giving away his own money and can retract promises at will. Who votes these morons into Parliament???? Well done Cumberland council and voters.

But five of the councillors voted for it. That evil book was defeated by only 1 vote.

Maybe it is time to stand up to these Alphabet people. If the Library holds its ground against the council and others do too, then the council will be evicted! Bowing down to the god of homosexuality is wrong and needs to be confronted

Very true. It is the Cumberland tax-payer who doesn't want this book in their library and since it is the Cumberland tax-payer who is funding this library, they have every right to have the book removed.
