"As an aside, why do all these people literally look like people from The Capital in the Hunger Games? They do know they're the bad guys, right?" ... *almost chokes on lunch, can't stop coughing from laughter...* lol that's a good one James 🤣

If you're going to die, dying of laughter is a good day to go!

Exactly what I was thinking!!

Was this some sort of a self-portrait? Once upon a time artists came up with original ideas. Indeed, to get more of a reaction he should have a go at mocking Mohammed.

Psalm 2:4 comes to mind...

I think it amazing that to denigrate Christianity, they all must look satanic and disgusting in appearance. As you said, to do the same with Islam is to invoke Jihad and assassins on the lookout for you. Christianity has to turn the other cheek, and leave the vengeance to the LORD and the Pit full of godless souls who will welcome them with sharpened pitch forks and fresh lava to swim in.

Yes, James, it’s important not to waste any of our energy spiritual and otherwise on being angry. That’s the response satan wants to suck the life energy out of us. But I also have a righteous anger which I give to God because He’s better at that than I am as mine could easily slip into something unrighteous. Very easily.

The painting is sick. The ‘artist’ is sick. And I literally felt sick when I looked at both of them. The artist is a ghoul. He’d scare the daylights out of anyone. A freakish sad creature.. What a terrible mockery of man made in God’s image! For God to reach them they would need the miracle of a Damascus experience. They have no idea of the judgment that awaits them unless they repent.

Heaven forbid if someone treated Muhammad like that!!! Are these poor creatures afraid to be inclusive? Shame on them! But if they did, Australia would erupt into the biggest jihad in the world…

Treat it with the contempt it deserves. That artist guy looks unbelievable!!! So weird

These bores are a bit like a toddler smearing poo on the walls to get attention.

Oh so easy as you sayJames, for Christian iconography to be perverted. The father of all lies in which people like Gloocker align, know there will be never be ‘price on their head’ or require security and a safe house forever.

However unless Gloocker repents and finds salvation, thru’ the true Heavenly Father of all truth, on judgement day there will be no safe place for him.

yeah yawn 🥱 the artwork mocks but certainly doesn't shock. And was "Jesus" meant to look like the artist ? cos it sorta does and perhaps that's meant to shock too??

You could be right. A bit of self aggrandisement and me, me, me.

Who needs to get angry at these blasphemous artists. Like you said, the only reason lame paintings like this get publicity is because of the backlash. Just ignore it and hopefully these artists go away or focus on actually being creative, rather than tacky imitations.

People with real, genuine talent have no need to present themselves in such a weird way.

I don’t think this peanut is going to go far in the art world.

Oh and Mary looks too young in the real Pieta.

So boring. These ridiculous little creatures who ridicule and belittle women and the past are so tiresome. Their art is derivative, blasphemous and very poorly done. I will gaze on the real Pieta and enjoy. Even though that has its problems- in that it would have been hard for Mary to hold a grown man for very long in that position. But the sentiment and the glory to our God and Saviour is there. As well it is a marvellous piece of art.
