Stating the bleeding obvious James! So crazy that something so obvious has to be stated!

I think France had communal non gender public toilets in the streets.

I totally agree with everything you have said here James. Women and young children certainly do need a safe, private space where men are not permitted, when using the bathroom. But has anyone ever considered the fact that men, when using the bathroom, also need a safe, private space of their own, where women are not permitted, including women who identify as men?

Furthermore, every man in his right mind would prefer to keep male and female bathrooms, toilets and change rooms separated. This is because no man wants to find himself in a vulnerable position where he can be falsely accused of sexual harassment or assault by a woman. Men need to be able to use the bathroom without worrying about whether some woman is going to accuse him of sexual harassment, just because he happens to glance at her face as he walks past her in the bathroom. Everyone has needs. Everyone deserves respect and privacy. Everyone's body is sacred.

The fact that this needs to be explained to anyone with an IQ above 60 is boggling! Let's hope people don't start identifying as anything else soon.

With the current sentiment for fantasy beliefs it may be hard to argue against.

They will look back at the chrome statistics in 10 years and say “yeah that was a really bad idea why did we do that!”

Well articulated.

And yes, unisex bathrooms etc... stupidity. Sigh ...

This article is common sense and James Macpherson is a voice for reason, again. Those who say this is radical ... are themselves radical.

Men who are genuinely gender dysphoric would understand why we women and our children need our own spaces. They would understand that we are weaker and more vulnerable especially when we can be separated from a crowd like we are in toilets and change rooms. These people who think it is OK to allow men into female spaces are not interested in human rights. They are not protecting the vulnerable, they are pushing a perverted ideology onto society. It is women and children who are the vulnerable ones in this debate not the feelings of some bloke in a frock.

We used to have lunatic asylums for people who were so delusional they couldn’t comprehend reality.

They would be full to over flowing if we brought them back today.

Single booth toilets/basin with access directly from a hallway or space clearly seen is the way to keep these spaces safe. More expensive and no doubt longer queues, but we cannot have open bathrooms “out-of-sight.”

When one considers we live in a time of history where an article of such basic, reasoned, biologically factual certainty even needs to be written and be thought of as a controversial point of view tells you just how far down the gurgler this world is. Keep speaking truth in the face of madness Mr Macpherson, those voices are few and far between.

It's an incredible time in which we live where you can make a pretty reasonable living by simply saying obvious things which are accepted as if they were profound!

Not very fair putting the sexual perverts in with the handicapped who have special needs through no fault of their own or through accidents, miss fortune or old age.
