It’s a real eyeopener when you compare it to todays world.

Yes exactly . It would be more appropriate to photograph those who “ identify as being female “ according to her own guidelines . It seems that she isn’t being very INCLUSIVE . She may have offended some politicians and scould apologise pronto .

How does she know if she is an adult?

THIS SAYS IT ALL “Hmmm. I think we may conclude that our politicians know exactly what a woman is, when it’s convenient to know!” THEY ARE SO WEAK!

Yes Axel compulsory voting was introduced (by Labour )in the 1920s by instigation of the Catholic Church in order to get the large Irish community out of the pub on Saturday and go and vote how you were told to by the priest the previous Sunday The pubs were also closed on voting day . This post is in no way critical of the Church as in those days mass communication was newspaper or wireless Hardly anyone owned a radio set so the churches were the only method on communicating with large sections of the population. And it worked.

Isaiah, chapter 3, verse 12: "My people - children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. Oh my people, your leaders mislead you, and lead you into confusion."

This photograph of Victoria's parliamentarians is an illustration of blasphemy.

Photo opportunities are a must before trying to rein in the enormous debt for the State.

They need to come up with more brain farts like raising the docking fees by 15% for each cruise ship arriving in Victoria. Result, one cruise line so far has said that’s OK, we just won’t go there.

That means no docking fees, no restocking the ship and no thousands of passengers spending in Melbourne. No doubt other cruise lines will do the same.

What a brilliant, well thought out plan. Not!

Typical labors shoot from the lip--kneejerk thought bubble thinking that worked well with the inner lefty class city greenies without a thought for the cattle producers who had tens of thousands of cattle en-route for the ships when they banned live cattle exports without even a days notice Oh thats ok just take them home again (in one case that I know of that was nearly two and a half thousand kilometres ) Typical labor f-------ts that couldnt run a s-------e

I have come to the conclusion that you don't need any qualifications to be an MP, just get the votes and you are in. No wonder we are in the incredible mess we are in. Maybe the only qualification is to not answer qustions about what is a woman or a man. Such a pity. Once upon a time, we all knew

Well said it’s like a high school popularity vote you don’t have to do anything particularly smart, important or be good at anything, just be popular enough to get in

But at least in Victoria there are two qualifications: must be female and brain dead.

Go back to non compulsory voting would be a good start.

Draw a diagonal line across the ballot paper and write on it:" ABSTENTION". It is also legal to avoid voting on religious grounds.

Sorry mate, that achieves nothing. It’s better to give your vote to someone who will not preference the major parties or preference the Greens. The preference system just means the major parties remain in power and will do so until we all wake up and acknowledge that ALP and ARL don’t have the balls or wherewithal to save Australia.

We have to use the system to defeat the system.

You're right, Burnie. I consider this preference system unfair.

At least twice I ticked some obscure party that had no chance to get a seat in government. That way I had still cast a valid vote for a "puff of smoke".

Looks like they got the colour scheme right anyway...
