Literal Identity Politics
But how did they organise a photo of women MPs when they claim not to know what a woman is?
You’ve heard of identity politics? Well, the photo is literally that!
Victoria Premier Jacinta Allan was so excited about how many women are now in parliament that she gathered them all together for a group shot.
Imagine how much more excited she would be if she knew what a woman was!
The photograph is literal identity politics.
Jacinta Allan: Let’s get a photo of MPs who …
Photographer: Have delivered on promises?
Jacinta Allan: Nah.
Photographer: Have kept to budget?
Jacinta Allan: Too hard.
Photographer: Have saved taxpayers money?
Jacinta Allan: LMAO
Photographer: Damn. Then what?
Jacinta Allan: Let’s get a photo of MPs who own a vagina!
Allan took time out from running Australia’s most indebted state to post a photo of the female MPs with the caption …
“For the first time ever women make up half of the Victorian Parliament.
“Now when school groups visit, they can look out from the galleries and see chambers that are truly representative of men and women.
“To celebrate, we invited all women MPs for a photo to mark the occasion.”
Woohoo! We have at last moved past that archaic 'best person for the job' approach to a much better 'equal numbers of vaginas and penises' way of doing things!
Commies love their quotas. Good Job Comrade Allan!
It was a nice piece of virtue signalling to distract from the fact Victoria is sinking under the weight of Labor debt.
It’s just a shame that the Labor government doesn’t know what a woman is. And when women speak up to claim their sex-based rights, they are branded Nazis.
What about the other 70 genders? Why don't they have equal representation?
The Victorian premier needs to help Victorians understand what help a Victorian Parliament filled with women is when Victoria doesn’t recognise women’s sex-based rights?
I mean, most Victorian MPs (Moria Deeming is a wonderful exception) won’t even say what a woman is!
But here’s the real question. How did they organise a photo of only women MPs if they don’t know what a woman is?
Hmmm. I think we may conclude that our politicians know exactly what a woman is, when it’s convenient to know!
Photo opportunities are a must before trying to rein in the enormous debt for the State.
They need to come up with more brain farts like raising the docking fees by 15% for each cruise ship arriving in Victoria. Result, one cruise line so far has said that’s OK, we just won’t go there.
That means no docking fees, no restocking the ship and no thousands of passengers spending in Melbourne. No doubt other cruise lines will do the same.
What a brilliant, well thought out plan. Not!
H James... please do keep pointing out the hypocrisy of these mealy mouthed people, and them jabbing them in the eye with a great big pole!
so blinded by ideology that they fail to see how their own statements trip them up.
