Saw it today. The bible verses are still here. No sure what council will do. It looks like a stencil and hard to remove.

….I’m confused…so on a rainbow crossing are we only meant to stop for the LGBTQs?

Brilliant from all angles! From the horrific vandalistic hate crime to a superbly written piece.

The temerity indeed! Thank goodness for common sense and decency. Did almost

the same thing James re Uni. Wollongong police cannot have a lot going on at the moment. Usually police go pretty hard on burnouts too, so if that did precede the biblical reference...look out hooligans.

The LGBTQWTF lobby have anounced that if the Genesis supporters, probably those damned Christians, who desecrated a zebra crossing, which was originally desecrated by the Council, but anyway, if they are found they want them thrown into prism. So there.

Lets not forget the much loved "Eternity" meme which which appeared across Sydney for 35 years, written by devout Christian Arthur Stace which was heavily promoted in the 2000 New Year's Day celebrations and the Sydney Olympics. And as for the rainbow symbol, not only is it the Gen 9:13, but also of the unofficial symbol of Noahidism which, like Gen 9:13 represents the post flood covenant. Interestingly Noahide Law 6 says

"Harness and channel the human libido.

Incest, adultery, rape and homosexual relations are forbidden.

The family unit is the foundation of human society. Sexuality is the fountain of life and so nothing is more holy than the sexual act. So, too, when abused, nothing can be more debasing and destructive to the human being.'

So here's the irony, the rainbow symbol was originally a reminder (in part) of the immorality of the very activity which is practiced by the group who has appropriated the symbol. You can't make this stuff up.

Great update. Every day in every way those who are against God show their hand. Just in the days of Noah many people will die for their choices. Well done for highlighting their inequality!

After a few burnouts will liquorice Allsorts be banned?

As you pointed out, hijacking symbols that have thousands of years history and one meaning till recently being vandalised by lbq Allsorts, who should mostly be upset? Lucky for all of us that God is patient, loving, kind etc.

And are they now going to get sky-writers to write across nature's own rainbows in the sky: "SHAME ON YOU!"

Appropriate all they like - at some point the general (sane?) public will wake up to all this breathakingly bold & confident take-over of the meanings of ordinary things in our everyday lives......

We’ll said James.

I suspect it can’t be easy keeping up the outrage, so they have to continue with every minor detail from the opposition. I bet they didn’t even look up the verse and imagined it was actually about them being gay.....😂

These people! They steal a Christian symbol alive and well for about 6,000 years ago and then have the NERVE to get their hurty feelings all riled up because someone has the brazen gall to tell people where the rainbow comes from and to Whom it belongs. Tolerance out the window when it comes to anything Christian.

It is our obligation as free citizens to persistently oppose unreasonable impositions of government and their agencies.

I'm of the view that the 'vandalism' significantly improved the aesthetics of the crossing!

Could’ve been worse - they could’ve written Genesis 6:13.. A reminder as to why God sent the flood in the first place.

Well said James as always. Some people have way too much time on their hands, Genesis 9: 13 -17 is a message of God's love, hope, grace and mercy to mankind. It is His gift to us. Seeing a rainbow in the sky after the rain stops and the sun comes out always fills me with wonder...GOD'S gift to us ❤️🙏
