As much as I dislike Premier Andrews, I have to admit, he is a good operator. Then again he doesn't have much in the way of an opposition. The Liberal party is dead.

So would I, but she needs to keep speaking out and build support. Have you heard what the new woman pm of Italy has done. You can tell how good someone is by who their enemies are. The woke abuse and insults she was getting for simply stating normal family values was enormous and then she won the elections, in a very corrupt political country. That's what Aust needs.

i haven't voted liberal for a few years and i keep hoping and being optimistic that the libs will resort back to there core values but it feels like every day they drift further and further to the left and now a lost cause, they are totally opposite to there original conservative values.

Very true. And so what on earth is to become of our country? Will Australians ever wake up??? The problem is that Australians have chosen to rebel against God, and so essentially, they have fallen asleep. They think they do not need God. But if you throw God out the window, then you will find, by and by, that you have also thrown values out the window too. Until people turn back to God, this mess will only get worse.

Well written James! The dress-up Nazi's were clearly Comrade Dan's henchmen - most likely from VicPol - who gatecrashed the event! They looked truly military!

And yes Pesutto is pathetic. Don't the Libs realise they lost because they were so wet - no backbone to take the conservative side of difficult issues???

The Liberal Party in Victoria is a incompetent waste of oxygen. No wonder they can't win an election.

A coward and moron leads a useless party. They will never win another election unless someone with a backbone becomes leader and is supported by all the party. At least this innocent woman means there is 1 person in the whole party with a brain, backbone and bravery enough to speak the truth. She needs to keep speaking the truth and copy the new prime minister of italy

This was an impulsive and uninformed reaction to Dan's comments and in the cool light of day I thought common sense would prevail and she would be exonerated from any wrong doing, but how wrong could we be!

She won her seat well while others lost theirs and had margins reduced in the last election. For this reason I suspect she is a challenger to the leader and that is why she has been treated this way.

Pure politics does not have to make sense, but when you make such mistakes it will always come back to bite you. Imagine if all the women in his seat vote against him net election for his treatment of her.

Peter, totally agree with you. I thought there had to be more to this than meets the eye. There had to be a reason behind Pesutto's logic in dishing on a sitting Liberal party member. We don't have to worry about Labor dishing on Liberal, the Libs are doing it from within... very ugly business :(

The idiocy of the Liberal Party in this country is astounding. Where have all the conservatives gone? Long time passing?

I’m not actually certain what it means for her to be suspended. Does she identify as an independent now or is she not allow to even pretend she’s a Liberal by using different pronouns? Can she vote with the Liberals in parliament or does she have to vote against them now? Does she actually care? And will they let her back in even if she wants to rejoin the idiots? 🤷🏻‍♀️

My phrase of the weekend, following the trashing of the Liberals in NSW, is that mainland Australia is now a 'one-party state', elections mean thing as the left has consumed the right and there is no longer anything to distinguish left from right.

Never mind distinguishing left from right, it seems politicians and the media can no longer distinguish right from wrong.

I find this very frightening actually, especially considering the Albanese Government's push to turn our country into a republic and tamper with our constitution under the guise of the 'voice to parliament', so that the constitution reflects more of a communist country rather than a democracy.

So the Liberal party in Victoria have suspended a woman for speaking up for protecting children and protecting women’s spaces. Andrews must be thinking he has died and gone to his Labor heaven. The Liberal party is a spent force.
