Spot on James. And yes Paul's words, which are actually God's words are totally apt.

High minded nascent slogans when delivered, often fall on the ears of hack bums on arranged seats. Pity that their brains aren’t as active as their ears.

I remember that passage - "In 2000 years, the Apostle Paul’s words “professing to be wise they became fools” have never been more apt." Humans have "outsmarted" themselves and done as Paul suggested all those years ago..

I like your take on the inane stupidity that is endemic at the moment in time, James.

I like Bob Dylan's take on his song licence to kill "

Now he worships at an altar of a stagnant pool

And when he sees his reflection, he’s fulfilled

Oh, man is opposed to fair play

He wants it all and he wants it his way" or Leonard Cohen's Everybody Knows is really apt too.

Roll up, roll up the circus has come to town. Under the big top, little realizing the clowns aren’t happy with the slight of hands and stunts on show.

Well James, when you put it in a list like that! 😂😂

‘Global Boiling’ wins my prize 🏆 for the stupidest statement in the history of the world. I’m not sure what it actually shows because it’s so over-the-top ridiculous that no person with a brain could seriously say such a thing imo. Could they ????? 🤷‍♀️

Amen and amen. Your analysis of society’s depravity and degeneracy is as accurate as ever Mr Macpherson.

God, by his wonderful appearances on the behalf of his people, went about to wrest their idols from them, they held them so much the faster,

and said one to another, "Be of good

courage; let us unanimously agree to keep up the reputation of our gods. Though Dagon fall before the ark, he shall be set up again in his place." One tradesman encourages

another to come into a confederacy for the keeping up of the noble craft of god-making. Thus men's convictions often exasperate their corruptions, and they are made worse both by the word and the works of God, which should make them better.

That’s it James, a whole lot of blah blah blah. And what a great word to describe their narrative - VACUOUS - cliches. Love it. And ‘Enchanted by their own righteous rhetoric’!! Great writing. 🤩

They seem to think that if they say these buzz words enough times then the words will suddenly become true!

How silly 🙃

Oooh James. I love your turn of phrase. You capture the essence of this stupidity. But I ask, how can it have come to this? The inmates are in charge of the asylum. Oops that would be politically incorrect. But I do sense that God is on the move. People have had enough. There is movement at the station,.
