This mob need a lesson in respect & manners!!

Perhaps some elecution lessons wouldn't go astray , although possibly a wasted effort.

Caitlin Morans language is as attractive as her tatts, NOT!!😤

I will not be standing for any welcome ceremony ever again.

Between Thorpe, Brandt, Mereen & Caitlin, they are so Un-Australian.. They dont deserve my respect!

Australian has such a culture of victimhood! Our aboriginal brothers and sisters look back over there shoulders and seem to proudly carry the “burden” of the past. I have only lived in Australia for 30 years, but all I see are activists leading and feeding the problem! If only they could understand there’s no “freedom” in being a victim!

Well stated. I agree with all the points, and the best was, "forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us". The second best, was " non indigenous have the welcome to country... thrust upon them.."

And don't they look 'indigenous'! I'm sure most true aboriginals are accepting of the 'sorry' and have forgiven. It's these 'white with a spit of aboriginal ancestry (or none)' virtue signalling, activists that think they know what true aboriginals think and feel, that are the bane of our society.

I couldn’t agree more James

What a mess we have pursued. Adam - literally, "son of the red Earth." So there are no races as we have a common ancestor. This means we are all related. When lies are given creedence that we are different and therefore enemies, devision and violence follow as history has shown. The Queen, a lady that has lived a life devoid of her own interests, sacrificially living to serve others is worth remembering. Perfect? No, but certainly showing a life given, rather than a life grasping. It is disappointing that so many focus on themselves than others. I think that a minute of respect is worth showing for a life lived well. Celebrate what is good and don't waste time on hatred and bitterness.

Maybe they should check in with Patrick Dodson on this matter.

The AFL is the most woke and traitorous organization in Australia and I don't follow it any more.

I would not be surprised to see a round honouring pedophiles soon. Just another letter to the homosexual alphabet.

We need to encourage others to wake up and take the red pill so they can see the way these woke organizations are destroying the unity and morality of a once Christian based society.

They are trying to replace "Love one another" for "Hate one another".

This is the work of the CCP, WEF, UN, WHO (vaccine mandates), CBDC, etc. to divide and conquer every western nation so they can rule the world. They have also funded all other major sporting organizations, Dan Andrews, Bill Shorten, Malcolm Turnbull, Michael Photios, the universities, Greens, Teals and the ALP that we know of. They also put pressure on every Australian resident with Chinese links to be part of their 5th column to work against Australia and other western countries.

The reason many "progressives' and republicans in Australia give for dismantling the monarchy is that it is based on an archaic and out dated institution which has no place in the 21 st century.

Yet, these same people are the first ones to champion the preservation of the Australian Aboriginal culture- respect the elders, the "traditional" custodians they cry. Aboriginal culture MUST be taught in schools and generally at the expense of Anglo culture and history. We are even in the process of constitutionalising a "voice" in parliament seperate to the rest of us. And why?

Because the culture goes back millennium . If the British monarchy in it current form is less than 500 years old, how can it be outdated and irrelevant when these same people champion a culture much older and yet it isn't considered "out of date" and irrelevant. If singing the national anthem is considered an anathema why too is burning a few leaves and adding to our carbon footprint not also considered similarly an anachronism?

We need to call out the sheer hypocrisy of the progressive left. By use of God given wisdom and reason, we can fight these narratives every step of the way. I find through prayer, I am able to have a renewed insight into these issues and to be able to refute the false narratives and their fundamental internal logical inconsistency.

Cannot find your piece at Sky but get the gist of it. The constant victimhood and infantilising of aboriginal people is all so tiresome. Do these people want reconciliation or not? I have no particular beef with aboriginal people- they have the same opportunities as the rest of us and can do or be anything they like. They are Australians like the rest of us. It really is time to forgive and forget.

Thanks found. Heartily agree. The other thought that occurred to me was to wonder what the Queen had done to offend the Order of Perpetually Offended? Actually wondered what any of us have done?

Excellent piece James and so correct.

I find the AWFL teams who refused to honour the passing of our Queen a most remarkable selfless woman, quite despicable.

It seems since the ‘Sorry Day’ with PM Rudd, tragically, this opened a portal of perpetual victimhood status from leftist & indigenous angry activists. Whereas as you alluded to James it should have been a day for the beginning of forgiveness and finally moving forward.

Anger, bitterness and resentment eat away at a person’s own soul and can poison the hearts and minds of others around, as is so evident today.

Isn’t it time to ‘Forgive’ the very distant past wrongs.

As the most multi-cultural nation on earth, we must stand united helping to achieve the very best for each person, to fulfil their hopes and dreams. 🇦🇺

Well said James. As someone who leads 2 organisations which include many indigenous people I have been saying this for years. Until Indigenous Australians forgive we will never have true reconciliation. Indigenous activists continually talk about inclusion then exclude. Often doing the things they claim are discriminatory based on blood lines. But hey I’m racist because I’m white, they are just fighting for their rights. Not!

There are two problems before we can get to forgiveness.

First their grievances are lies. They have had the same laws applied to them as whites did until recently when judges let them off because of their skin colour. Did some whites kill some of them? Yes, but they also killed some of us. Both murderers were treated the same way under the law and hung.

Secondly, before forgiveness can be of any use the offender needs to admit their sin (not possible if they have committed no sin) and repent of their hatred (which true Christians don't have).

I have taught and played sports with people from every group that exists here and have never treated one above the other unless they don't show common respect and love e.g. when they start yelling "Allah 'akbar" while waving a knife around.

btw, they were not the original inhabitants, they killed off a white race, who were here before them and taught them how to make their things like boomerangs, as I was told by one of these brown skinned people who wants the truth to be known.

The division is planned by activist organizations who are Communist groups.

Great to hear from you Peter. And, of course, you are absolutely right.

I was thinking about this yesterday, wondering where are the Indigenous Christian preachers? The only ones I've seen/heard have been on the preaching circuit asking for recognition and support and acknowledgement. They are no different to activists outside the church.

Oh for an Indigenous preacher to preach a liberating message such as ....

1. Our identity is in Jesus therefore our ethnicity is a gift we bring rather than a right we we push

2. Our trust is in Jesus therefore our expectation is in Him rather than in government

3. Our future is in Jesus therefore our past redeemed (all of it) rather than a curse

4. Our character is of Jesus therefore we forgive and build rather than resent and tear down

Until the church models this we will never see it in the wider community. And so far all I see in the church with regards Indigenous affairs is a lot of white people virtue signalling and a lot of Indigenous people pushing the same activist barrow.

It disturbs me.

Once you understand that the visible church is not the one in the bible you should not be disappointed or surprised.

The biblical word that has been translated as church is "ecclesia" (Koine Greek) which means, "The called out ones" (or the invisible church as the Reformers distinguished them), but the counter Reformation Jesuits could not allow that as they have a free will works salvation rather than God calls, elects and sanctifies those whom He alone chooses, draws, regenerates and saves. Church was the name of the building that Constantine's mother used to hold all her relics of christianity. Very Roman Catholic.

Now it refers to a religious organization or a building and the bible knows nothing of either.

The called out ones still preach the same gospel and treat everyone as either being in the Messiah or unsaved (Galatians 3: 28) and we still teach love for God, your neighbour and your enemies. Those that love God keep His commandments and repent of their sins. (1 John 5: 3 & 2 Peter 3: 9)

We have to watch the word "forgive". I remember, at the end of the apartheid era in Sth Africa. Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu extolling the virtues of forgiveness towards the white people by the blacks. Do you really think forgiveness weighs in South Africa today? Ask any white immigrant who has fled black South Africa since black majority rule? Forgive ness is really a concept that exists almost solely in the Judea-Christian world view. To the atheist, because there is no concept of a loving and forgiving God, forgiveness is an alien concept. Theirs is revenge.

Thank you James, once again. Jesus spoke of nation against nation and we are seeing these divisions growing. Aided and pushed by self-indulgent activists, we see it everywhere. Race, jabbed v unjabbed, politics, religion, it’s all the same spirit of division.

Please don't use Google, they are part of the problem and their links are designed to drive us into Communism and the destruction of Christian based society.

I found it using https://www.4christian.com/search/ at https://genius.com/William-butler-yeats-the-second-coming-annotated

We need to stop these companies from changing us. Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, etc. and find others like 4Christian, Gab, Rumble, WND, Truth social, etc. that have Christians running them.

Heartily sick of all the whinging and whining from our indigenous people. Why did we even apologise for something that our generation had nothing to do with? They as a people seem to be way more equal than anyone else, with all their ‘benefits’, yet nothing is ever good enough 😡 Heaven help us all if this ridiculous ‘Voice’ gets through parliament 😱
