You got it! She actually thinks that her opinion matters- to anyone in Australia

Thanks, James for rightfully making a mockery of the inept arguement from someone who clearly has no idea of the mechanics of electric vehicles or of the racism perpetrated by voting yes.

To me, James the standout is your description of the proposed "Voice" as "a new bureaucracy, open only to Indigenous people, ... created within the Constitution."

I had not fully appreciated the gross racism of this proposal; thank you for reminding us of the hypocrisy of the government!

"We estimate that Aboriginal Australians and Papuans diverged from Eurasians between 51 and 72 thousand years ago, following a single out-of-Africa dispersal, and subsequently admixed with archaic populations." [https://www.nature.com/articles/nature18299]

The authors at Nature do not speculate upon the identity of the "archaic populations" but others have suggested Denisovans and/or Homo Erectus.

I think Ruby Rose should donate her property to the so called unfortunate indigenous if she was really serious or and maybe her electric car wonder how it will go out bush? (:

Be really good for the environment mining all those extra rare earths needed and the long term waste it creates.

Has anyone else been to an Ampol service station lately and seen the donation jar for the Smith Family who are asking people to donate to support indigenous children's education??? And Ampol proudly support it. I told the lady that it was an absolute disgrace that they are asking for money when they are already being paid billions, and she agreed. So I wonder who really gets that money.

She needs a lesson in law.

Special rights for people with a certain skin colour is racism.

Putting it into the constitution will destroy it after years of high court battles that will end up throwing it out.

If we could just get rid of governments we might all be a lot richer, not just people who own EVs.

I notice she has thrown in the denigration of “white “people in her rant. Clearly, she is oblivious that this constitutes a racist slur against over 33% of the Australian society. But that’s OK as it is it is quite fashionable to do so at the moment.

However, she looks fairly white herself so her Anglophobia includes self-loathing as well.

That dream is a nightmare you don’t want to materialize! The Tattooed One would then seem sane to you - you might even tattoo yourself in like manner and wear white singlets for your interviews!😆

I would never take any advice from a supposed influencer or whatever she is. Once upong a time, the circus used to have callers, yelling "come and see the tattooed lady", it cost about 10 bob to go into a tent and gawk at someone who had tgats. Today they are everywhere, which I guess if we didn't go to the circus, the circus came to us! If this rubbish keeps up, the aboriginal people will really feel inferior instead of equal to any other human being. What about convicts who were sent to this country? Why don't their descendants get benefits and sorries from a government that also had nothing to do with their issues of way back. What a ridiculous issue this is! We have all benefited from this country progressing, and giving us so much. I would love to see a time when we all count our blessings

Celebrity? I take as much notice of Ruby Rose (model, actress, disc jockey, television presenter) as I do of the aging celebrities who adorn the advertisements on my commercial television channels, advertising bed mattresses and sheets. It never ceases to amaze me how gullible the viewing audience must be. Or alternatively how ridiculously thick the advertising people are. Maybe Ruby Rose isn't aiming to influence an older and hopefully wiser section of society. Another illustration of populism in this allegedly brave new world.

Seriously this unknown person who has only come back to be a play thinks she can lecture us on anything. How dumb are her comments!

“a majority is voting on the rights of a minority”

James, a reminder, if we needed one, that many people advocating a yes vote have absolutely no idea what they will be voting for.

As has been pointed out, if you don’t know, vote no, if you do know, you’d vote no.
