Thanks for the update James. I grew up in Sydney but moved to QLD over 20years ago. I’ve been surprised at the ease with which so many churches have been sucked into the woke narrative and the resultant vax drama that so many of my friends accepted without question.
It’s certainly a slippery slope and it’s time to wake up the sleepers. Keep up the great work.
To fight back against Woke we need to use the histories of totalitarian governments and how many of their own people they all killed.
Stalin (the Ukrainian Holodomor 5 million starved to death), Andropov (the butcher of Budapest) and Khrushchev (the Hangman of Ukraine) total of 6-10 million killed by Russians, Mao's "Great leap forward" caused a famine that killed 50 million, Hitler's holocaust of the Jews is well known, but not many realize he was a socialist as so also had Communist ideals. North Korea, Ethiopia, Cambodia used famines and wars to eliminate their freedom loving opposition. They used repression, including violations of freedom, of speech, freedom of religion, loss of property rights, and the criminalization of ordinary economic activity to control people. The Staci of East Germany were famous for using neighbours and relatives to spy on each other and keep the records in their head office.
If this sounds like Woke, WEF, lockdowns, Covid and Climate Change restrictions then they are exactly the same form of control by elites. 1984 warned us how they do it, what it is like to live under it and so encouraged us to stop it, but the elites have used it as a textbook. Woke is just double speak for today.
Every school needs to add 1984, Animal farm and Atlas shrugged to the compulsory reading list for all students while all this climate change rubbish needs to be refuted in year 8 science classes on the cycles of nature. e.g. water cycle, carbon cycle, nitrogen cycle, oxygen cycle, etc. Atoms are not created by man or destroyed by man, they just go round in cycles. Water vapour is the main climate controlling molecule that modulates the climate caused by contact between wind and sea (80% of the earth's surface) that is beyond our control like sun spot activity that causes rises and falls in our climate.
It is all a big scam to control people as totalitarian elites aka Communism.
James your right on every woke instance but the problem is you cannot argue against them they are not open minded, open for debate or discussion and try all so hard to shut your conversation down. I saw a classic example Matt Canavan was on TV was talking about the cost of removing cheap reliable coal from the power grid but Tanya Plibersek being woke as just starting shouting over the top of him “no no no”wouldn’t even let him speak.
Say another example is try telling someone that has had 4 or 5 jabs the covid vaccines didn’t work or why are you still wearing a mask? You couldn’t even have that discussion.
My hope is the pendulum swings both ways Is unfortunate but theirs a lot of suffering for all in the mean time.
To have the church embrace all this dangerous nonsense is truly terrible. I took issue with my super fund which was Christian after they did the welcome to country and embraced animism - such a mealy mouthed response. Took my money out! Also to issue with idea of ‘ethical’ ‘investment. When they began to talk down fossil fuels.
Unfortunately what you are saying is so true, James. But should we be surprised? In the 60s communist ideologies bragged that they would take power from within. Division was the weapon of choice. Other popular theories of the time eg: evolution with survival of the fittest etc and decades later, here we are. No one can cancel Jesus, because he has already won. That is what I hold onto every day. We must continue to pray the Lord’s Prayer so that His Kingdom may come.
We are not waking up to woke many are silent to challenging it... it’s through the corporates, institutions and even the church...the era of COVID has had two major affects to clearly see those who will fight government overreach and those who want the government to “govern me harder daddy”! Many leaders in many organisations tick the box of compliance daily to appease their bosses and win favour or promotion...so wokeness is now incentivised! Many have already surrendered their voice and actively quash decent as alternate thinking! The ideology of woke has already been written into many codes of conduct and contracts and if questioned your job may be on the line... Mass compliance and mass compliance paper work has been an adverse result of the COVID era... global climate change propaganda, indigenous activism and the LGBT wave has just rainbowed everything! How you do your job is not as important as your superior virtue! The same sex marriage vote has meant that speaking against that lifestyle may cost you your job even in Christian settings...I fear that no alarm bell will work unless their is an economic crunch and those who have ridden through COVID have their assets devalued drastically...I’m not sure what will wake up the masses...mass confiscation of assets will do it...many have become assets rich through the years when houses doubled and tripled or quadrupled in price..some people are up to their eyeballs in debt but it has no effect as they are riding the wave of equity money given out by banks! I fear we need a larger shock to wake up the sleeping masses!

Our local laundromat have had all of their social media accounts cancelled because they kept telling people to separate the white from the colours.
