The phrase “in loco parentis”means “in place of the parent”. As a staff member in Air Force Cadets, I may be required to make a decision in place of the parent at times, BUT I am also required to inform parents of any matter concerning their child. For such a big decision as gender identity, I would defer the decision until a parent could be contacted. I expect a similar principle should apply to teachers.
This is shocking. Time for parents to be vigilant. If this was going on when II was a child, I hate to think wheree I would be today. I was a tomboy until I was 13 or 14, climbing trees and wanting to be a boy. I thank God I was allowed to grow up in a world that still allowed children to be children. The gobbledegook about “mature minors” is meaningless. The fact is that minors cannot legally give informed consent to such treatment, and teachers are not equipped to make the best decision for the child in such matters.

What truly breaks my heart is that the parents having to deal with a situation like this are (anecdotally) already dealing with kids who have issues to begin with. I recall my son being bullied many moons ago. I told the principal that I had sorted this and as a result I did not want the "suspension" phone call afterwards. He understood. My boy duly dished it out to the head bully as directed by me and it all went away. Now if he was at school now and I found that he had even been involved in discussions about this gender nonsense I would have no hesitation in going to the school and smacking the principal good and hard and bugger the consequences. They are just hopeless hopeless little Jacindas.
They will stop at nothing to destroy traditional family values.
