A foreshadowing of what we will be facing next year the indigenous voice to parliament, radical climate change alarmism leading to the adoption digital currency and massive control through energy rationing...the government is acting to control us...not for safety or for assistance but for control....the dystopian world of 1984 and the Matrix is coming to pass..Australia has been trained en masse to be compliant during COVID and many followed like sheep completely bound by fear and the non stop media rhetoric and still are!..we have a track record look at Victoria...I fear that many will follow the Albanese march towards communism and China... the social credit system.. the freezing of bank accounts....I worry that Australia has been placed in a trance of just following the government because it is the easiest thing to do... our work filled lifestyle has just lead to a complete indifference on the issue... no one has time to question the government anymore but we must..I am hoping for a dam breaking moment like mandating jabs on our children or pushing energy usage beyond our pay packets...we all knew that a coalition of Albanese and Bandt would lead to this...achieving government control through fear is the new norm and many have allowed this. It has been about ignorance and a gnawing failure to act that this has come to Australia....we need a massive turn to civilian protest to turn this around...new leaders... new parties...many think that the COVID marches meant nothing but can you imagine what may of happened if we didn’t march! We must march against the government telling us what we need to do locally and globally mandating against our will and pushing many to mass compliance through lies and propaganda..Australia is in big trouble... this is the real problem..Australia needs to wake up and fight for the country that is being lost!

That would require Stone Age lifestyles. The 62% figure includes savings from carbon capture and storage, and other technologies. In fact, my noble friend Lord Deben’s excellent committee sensibly says that 90% of carbon savings will come from new technologies and just 10% from modest lifestyle changes. Shamefully, the Environment and Climate Change Committee voted to omit that 10% figure from its report, because it would not get a good headline or satisfy the puritans and others who want to make us all adopt frugal lifestyles." So, by my reading, the figure actually seems to be 10% rather than 62%

Those living ( surviving ) on pensions and government hand outs will find it increasingly difficult to survive with higher energy, food and medicine cost and will live shorter lives. Lowering the population growth or even the population perhaps with the help of the Lang Hancock’s conjecture
I understand 'net zero' carbon emissions to be a mathematical equation where the carbon sequestered/absorbed by our trees etc is deducted from the 'gross' carbon emissions generated from our lifestyle and manufacturing. To that end I've heard that Australia is already at 'net zero' because we grow a lot of trees.
Can anyone advise where I can find these two figures - the gross emissions and the amount sequestered/absorbed?
BTW, I contacted the Australian Conservation Foundation a while ago with this question, but they seemed to get a bit confused between 'zero' and 'net zero' haha
