I had a go in 1998/99in Gwydir (federal and Barwon State --same area of NSW )and got about 22%of the primary vote both times albeit with no preferences ) I was with One Nation and believed then as I still do now that Aussie farmers were being screwed, Multi-culturalism was a sick joke and that our defence policy was leaving us helpless . This wasnt a swipe at the ADF diggers but at the government (s) of the day A bit of an ask for a redneck bushie but the percentage spoke for itself ,however that and sixty dollars will buy a carton of beer .
