This must to be a warning to everyone, that we will increasingly be under pressure to compromise not only natural truths, but ultimately the Truth of the Gospel. Courage to stand in the face of this is only assured by faith, and by not compromising on the little issues of truth and so reducing our reservoir of courage.
I feel so sorry for her. The torment of going against the truth so publicly must be unbearable. Another victim. It reminds me of the Hunger Games. Saying what will please the crowds to keep you in favour. Such Bats times and not just covid.
To tell the truth so blatantly .... then to retract the comments and go with "the lie" shows what power and intimidation we're under from this minority group. My husband wisely said " if same sex marriage gets passed, it will open the flood gates for this kind of thing!"
Heretics have always faced the same choice. Recant or be burnt at the stake. I wonder how long before there literally start burning heretics at the stake.
