The rabble protesting weapons of war can only stage their idiotic protest because we have weapons of war.
But do you think the Melbourne protestors are smart enough to realise that?
If Australia was to lay down its guns this afternoon, we would all be speaking Mandarin by dinner time. And then where would the protestors be?
The freedoms these anarchists were using to demonstrate are only possible due to the military defence of democracies such as Australia and our security treaties with other free nations.
But, of course, I’m pissing into the wind. When did you ever meet a Pro-Palestinian supporter - or a climate Karen for that matter - who had a firing neuron?
The scenes outside the Land Force weapons expo were disgraceful.
Masked protestors hit police horses, threw acid on officers and set fire to property. All in support of peace.
Peace my ass. These people, encouraged by Greens politicians, set out to cause violence all the while claiming to oppose violence.
They are hypocrites of the first degree.
Pro tip: Peace protestors don’t wear terrorist scarves and throw projectiles at police.
Greens foreign affairs spokesman Jordon Steele-John used social media last week to call on his lemmings to protest against the expo, describing weapons manufacturers as “merchants of death”.
Can you imagine Jordon Steele-John representing Australia on the world stage? I wouldn’t trust him to make a sandwich let alone speak on foreign affairs.
As for “merchants of death”, Steele-John is a merchant of BS. Do you think China is more inclined or less to invade Australia if we had no weapons?
Do you think Russia would be more inclined or less to invade Europe if our allies laid down their arms?
Does Jordan Steele-John believe his security team should bin their weapons? Or a weapons okay when they are keeping him safe?
That Greens MPs were promoting the protest and skipping Parliament to speak at the protest was a disgrace.
The barbarians are not at the gates. They're inside the walls, by which I mean our parliaments.
The events of yesterday raise some uncomfortable issues for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
First, when will he crack down on lawlessness that has been allowed to fester on our streets under his watch.
Since October 7 we have watched with horror as thugs have been allowed to intimidate, harass and bully citizens on university campuses and in streets around our nation.
Albo has been largely mute.
Second, it is obvious that the Greens are a dangerously subversive group who have no intention of supporting our democratic values. Is this what a Labor/Greens government would look like?
That the ALP would even contemplate partnering with them, in any form, is reprehensible.
Will the PM put out a statement declaring he will not deal with the Greens under any circumstances?
A vote for the Greens is a vote for a hate filled country that sees violence as the means to an end, whatever they have in mind.
The Victorian Greens complained that police had exacerbated the situation. They are nothing but Karens throwing manure.
But isn’t it interesting how the Greens and Hamas sing from the same songbook.
The aggressor (Hamas / Melbourne protesters) expects to behave with impunity and is then outraged by a completely legitimate response from those they are attacking (Israel / police).
Provoke. Provoke. Provoke. Then play the victim.
It’s as transparent and is it outrageous.
No one does hypocrisy better than the Greens.
The Teals are a close second.
And as for Labor …
Peace, peace, when there is no peace. To quote the late Barry Smith, they put their peaceful bullets in their peaceful guns and cause chaos and then turn around and say "we are innocent"! OK, they threw dung and acid at police. They needed the fire hoses turned on them. What a disgrace. They would be the first to complain if we are invaded and our rights taken from us. I cannot believe the hypocrisy and stupidity
I am ashamed of my government and law enforcement- to allow these barbarians to behave in such a disgraceful way is appalling. The Greens are traitors to this country.
