About That Dirty Word, "Assimilation" by Jeff, THE DISNTR.
There was a time in this country when freedom meant more than just license to desecrate decency—it meant something tethered, rooted, moral. It meant you could worship without fear, raise children without the state slipping into your home through a screen, and speak truth without the digital equivalent of being tarred and feathered by a blue-haired mob with WiFi.
But now? Freedom has become a helium balloon—pretty, untethered, and inevitably drifting into madness.
We’ve managed to twist the nation’s founders’ ideal of liberty into a spiritual swap meet where drag queens teach toddlers to twerk, pagan shamans get equal time on government land, and self-described witches demand tax exemptions for their coven headquarters.
The founding fathers would’ve called it a nervous breakdown. Unfortunately, we call it “progress.”
"Freedom of religion," they said—yes, but not this. Not the brazen flaunting of anti-Christ ideologies as if they were simply unconventional lifestyle choices. When Jefferson penned his musings on liberty of conscience, he wasn’t thinking about taxpayer-funded mosques, Satanic monuments beside nativity scenes, or Christian street preachers being hauled off for reading Romans 1 in public.
And he certainly wasn’t safeguarding the right to mock the very moral structure that made freedom possible in the first place.
And no, you didn’t have to be a born-again Christian to be a citizen—though let's not kid ourselves, if every citizen were washed in the blood of the Lamb, things would be a lot less insane. I wouldn’t complain. But what the Founders never imagined was that we’d turn their hard-fought liberties into a parade ground for ideologies that actively seek to tear them down.
Islam, Roman Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Talmudic Judaism—pick your flavor. Most of these are not mere private creeds. They are political blueprints. They are systems with governments baked into the theology. They don’t just shape souls, they draft laws, enforce codes, and kneecap the conscience.
Islam demands submission, not just of the spirit but of the state. Hinduism canonizes inequality in its ungodly caste system. Buddhism shrugs at truth and swats at it like a mosquito. Rabbinic Judaism rejects the gospel like a matador avoiding conviction.
And Roman Catholicism cloaks tyranny in gold-threaded vestments and incense, demanding submission to a foreign nation. These aren’t just religions, they’re spiritual empires. And yet here we are, acting as if building temples to every god in the Pantheon is a high civic virtue.
Modern pluralism says all ideas are welcome—unless, of course, those ideas are biblical, in which case you’re a theocrat and probably a domestic terrorist. Say "Jesus is Lord" and you’re a threat to democracy. Say "Allah is greatest," and you’re a misunderstood ambassador of culture. Welcome to the funhouse mirror version of freedom.
America was never supposed to be a religious demolition derby. Our motto was never "from many, let chaos reign." It was e pluribus unum—from many, one. But what we’ve built is not unity…it’s a piecemeal empire of contradiction. Every culture gets a seat at the table—until the table collapses under the weight of incompatible worldviews all demanding dominance. You can’t build peace with a hundred different compasses pointing in a hundred different directions. At some point, somebody has to say north.
That brings us to the dirty word no one’s allowed to say anymore: assimilation.
Whoopi leaves me speechless - it’s unfortunate that she isn’t speechless! Another Celebrity Mouth that should be kept closed! Oh, but I forgot - Whoopi is a very important person (in her own estimation) and her job is to remind the world that she is oppressed because of the colour of her skin! She should look in the mirror and sue her hairstylist!! Hasn’t she does done a deal with Australian Super Netball to broadcast the national series on her TV network? Is that oppression? Not in my book.
Many years ago Woopy Goldberg referred to the obligatory "casting couch"(before getting a part in a movie )___poor bastards doing the casting must have been blind !!!
Hi James I cannot believe the stupidity of these peace people did they think that the Egyptian Government were going to open the gates saying of you go have a nice peaceful walk enjoy the scenery and have a chat to Hamas and where was the goblin o i forgot she's been deported and Whoppi and Tucker cant be bothered to ridiculous
Tucker Carlson, a marvellous champion for truth so many times previous sure dropped the ball in recent days alright over Iran. Very disappointed in his behaviour and rhetoric. OK, granted he understandably regrets being gung-ho for the war in Iraq decades ago and justifiably doesn’t want American boys to lose their lives in another Middle Eastern ‘forever war’, but to label anyone in favour of stopping Iran attaining nuclear weapon capability (and thousands more hypersonic missiles) as a ‘war monger’ is way beneath his intelligence. I hope he snaps out of his funk sooner rather than later!
James, I want to tell you about something I did last week on Facebook. I put a post about the sanctions on the 2 Israeli ministers, and how Albo and Wong never went to Israel or watched the Oct6 video. I also shared an except from Pastor Pat Robertson CBN written in 2004. He stated the goal of Hamas, Hezbollah and the PLO was the final destruction of Israel.
The post was met by extreme protests by 2 friends (now ex) and a third educating me on Israel. Apparently I support the killing of women and children in Gaza, and that Judaism is Ok, but Zionism is evil. I replied that my post was more about the debt owed to Judaism by Christianity, and that the latter could not exist if Israel was wiped out.
One replied OMG I can't be your friend and unfriended me. The other two said I was not a real Christian anyhow for saying such things (Supporting Israel). She is a Muslim, so I unfriended her and the Catholic husband, who was OK, but supportive of her views. I think the World has gone quite mad...
I agree, Tucker must be paid by some entity, perhaps George Soros. As for Whoppi, that whoppi cussion has seriously blown some serious gas. Next she'll tell us the oppressed people of Tehran are treated better than Gretta having to fly economy in front of the lavatories. Honestly, what a screwball.
The shin-dig in Egypt has provided me with lots of laughs over the past week or so. Hysterical seeing the Egyptians throwing stuff at the activists, and hitting them with shoes. Wish we could do that to the Melbourne proPalestine ferals.
The peace marchers should have done a U turn and headed off to South Sudan. The lady who claimed to be a tourist would have had her wish fulfilled and the wanna be saviours of the oppressed could have done something useful for a change if they managed to survive
You did a great job last night on Rowan's show. I think those peace marchers were an adjunct to the Swedish goblin's cruise. What a lot of silly people. Whoopi is awful and not very bright. I was always bit worried that the Tucker Carlson support would be a two edged sword. I think he has apologised to the president. The way he interrupted Ted Cruz was disgusting. I watched him interview Vladamit Putin and he sat like a stuffed dummy and just him talk. No interrupting there. He has had some dreadful guests.

Shawn ,You dont need enemies with friends like that .You are better off without them
Thanks Bob.
This Whoppi Goldberg is as crazy as her hair style.
We’re Muslims we’re Christians we’re atheists we’re Jews he forgot to add we’re idiots.

Well said David 👍
It struck me to see how sincerely twisted some people can be.

Agreed Jillian…Tucker disappoints…like many these days. Julie Bishop in Australia also 🙄
I watched that last night, it was an extremely strange demonstration. A crying adult man who is utterly ridiculous. These people are crazy
Dangerously so.
