Excellent article James. I first became aware of the emerging paganism in 1997 when I read "Dawning of the Pagan Moon", by David Burnett - an investigation into the rise of Western paganism.

Try reading 'The Return of the Gods' by Jonathan Cahn. Speaks to this very subject.

Diving deep into the occult (which is one of the worst things that one could do) can lead humans to see the demonic realm exposing themselves for what they are - which, once someone has a realisation of, can - and should - spring their attention and thoughts and desire for spiritual fulfilment straight back to God - and never doubt in Him again. Wonderful message, thank you James. Even a 1-second glance at the stars of an evening just speaks to me deep inside and helps me regain perspective of the wondrous awesome power of Almighty God.

Beautiful message to wake up to today James. You have given us an interesting circular perspective to consider: worshipping creation points to a Majestic Creator. Pray eyes are open to this truth.

Just This year the Faith Communities Council of Victoria accepted Paganism into their fold, or as they described it Nature Religions which may be Animism, Druid or forms of Wicca.

Eloquently put Rev. James.

Back in 1988 at the Expo 88 I was standing in line patiently waiting to get into the Australian Pavilion. A wag in the queue said loudly, "This queue is as slow as the 2nd. coming!"

Well maybe God has been giving as many chances as possible through the last 36 years of sunsets and rainbows and other beautiful creation examples, for that chap and millions of others who are awaiting His Son's return. It is closer than we think, and The Book of Life is still being written else we would all be standing in the Heavenly queue waiting our Judgement. It's not too late for the pagan to see what is clearly written in the stars.

As an “exiled” Scot, thanks to everyone for your little ditties re Scotland😀. As a child my granny would take me to the bottom of the garden to look for fairies (never found any) but it was just childhood stories. Sadly, the Scotland I grew up in is no longer - with a practicing Muslim First Minister. I am currently reading The Scottish Enlightenment - The Scots Invention of the Modern World by Arthur Herman (and no he isn’t a Scot). The Scottish Kirk was so instrumental in ensuring the education of all children as well as their spiritual guidance. In primary school my teacher taught us to recite the Psalms every morning - stayed with me all my life. I was last in Scotland in 2016 and couldn’t believe the number of Muslims (complete with burghas) walking around. Churchill once quoted: “Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind”. I wonder what he would think today.

Thank you James for your beautiful reminder of God’s creation.👍. I texted an (unbelieving) friend

recently who is going through a difficult time - to look out at the magnificent sunset - I wrote, God made the sunset so that everyday ends in victory. The response - “I never heard that before - didn’t realise God made it”. It’s opened up opportunities to talk about Creation.

Another Scottish saying … “Here’s tae us, wha’s like us”. (Here’s to us, who is like us!) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺🇮🇱

Thanks James, yes an excellent article and so very true. The increase in occult activity is more obvious than is used to be and church leaders and members don’t seem to know how to handle it. The Blue Mountains and the results from their long held winter magic festival should make the average Australian quake in their boots.

Interesting perspective James on where we as a people are headed when we reject Christianity and the one God. It is true that everyone has the desire for the knowledge of God created within them and the evidence for him is in creation (Ps 19 and Romans 1:20). I believe the real reason for rejection of a one holy, supreme creator God is because that would mean accountability and personal obligation as you said, for everyone of us. That would mean we have a purpose for living and if we took stock of our past we would realise that we come up short and need to repent!

This summoning of demons is happening worldwide. It is interesting that you say it is turning a corner back to God, James. I pray many people come to a knowledge of the truth very soon. But as I think about it, I went off into the occult realm looking for truth, but eventually heard the voice of God calling me back to Him, for which I am eternally grateful. We can so under estimate the power of the Holy Spirit, nothing is impossible to Him. If Jesus could save me, He can save anyone!

The welcoming of smoking ceremonies all around Australia is same, same, same. Madness. Delusional. No research done. Spiritual blindness. Worst: offensive to God. Have mercy on our nation Lord and save us from ourselves, our sin.

Thank you, James. I’m thinking the best sermon I’ll hear today. And yes, if there’s magic there has to be a magician. May the eyes and ears of many be opened to the Truth. 🙏🏻

The Mayor and council of the City of Mitcham in SA voted to "embed Aboriginal culture in the council and community." Do they have any idea of what they are talking about? Prepare for tribal warfare (they started that), child brides, sanctioned spearing, open air burials, and kurdaitcha medicine to replace MRI's. Or are they just child-like naive new age lefty's totally deluded and ignorant?

It seems the world is elevating the status of 'First Nations, indigents' enraptured by their 'closeness to Mother Earth'! Giving to their forebears magical powers of how well they looked after the place. I thought when the enlightenment of God came into peoples lives, it shook off the shadowy life and presented Light for all men to follow. Sadly the Missionaries of the past who brought that Light, will be wondering just how far downwards this Earth can plunge once more.
