Wonderful, I also use Kindle so it will be no problem. I love Kindle but I love my old fashioned and extensive library more! However, Kindle is superb for obscure works at the right price! Cheers.

Heck yeah, talking about salvation, forgiveness of sin, repentance, a truth beyond "my truth" and a saviour who died on a cross and rose from the dead 3 days later,

Of course that's dangerous, well sorta, if you're an ostrich with your head in the sand and your backside exposed just ready for kicking, me, I'm happy to be dangerous and trust the risen Jesus and accept what comes.

I think its really about big government wanting to control all aspects of our lives from cradle to grave.

Religion teaches us morals, a code of ethics and decency towards our fellows, ( Do unto others as you would have them do unto you) and is not what a leftist authoritarian government wants. They want a compliant, dependant populace, highly susceptible to being manipulated , assisted by a compliant press/media

Covid restrictions proved to be a valuable training ground for proponents of big government, and showed how easily we are able to be controlled . Take religion out of the equation and thought and behavioural control is just so much easier

I am currently reading a book by David Fiorazo, called "The Cost of our Silence - Consequences of Christians taking the path of least resistance. He talks about how the church has gone timid and also about how the great preachers of old spoke boldly. These days people don't hear about hell and sin, it is more a feel good type of Christianity. As a result, we are weak and unable to lead peopple to Jesus, let alone explain the way of salvation because the Bible is just another book! I am stirred by reading this book and can see how comfortable we have become in our fine panelled houses. If we don't make the stand now, we never will

We have grown a few generations away from the consequences of sin and so no one feels guilty anymore and thumb their noses at Christianity which points out that the wages of sin is death. Instead they have like sheep gone astray and seek the wrong shepherd to follow.
