Although a republican, I have always felt some empathy with Charles. From an early age the British press mocked him because of his stick out ears (these may have been pinned back now). At least he has never been a hooray Henry and has done worthwhile work with his organic farming in the Duchy of Cornwall, prevented demolition of old buildings and his Prince's Trust has given work to underprivileged youth in Scotland. As to who owns the earth, in the Life of Brian it was said that the cheesemakers would inherit the earth. I don't have a problem with that.

Accuracy in interpretation, James. I am praying that the pagan head of the Anglican Church meets Jesus in this life rather than in the next.

Hear hear! Well said, James.

I had to read this through again to make sure that republicanism wasnt rearing its heathen head. I am ,and from a very young age,an avowed Monachist ,and anti republican. ( imagine a president wog or president Bandt ).I am an ardent believer in the institution of the Crown above politics and I am pretty well satisfied that our system of a Constitutional Monarchy is, while not perfect, goes very close. It is the institution of the Crown that matters and it must follow that the incumbent of the throne neednt see the demise of the Monachy . (as much as luminaries such as Bandt and Fitzsimons baying for a republic before The Queen was even buried would like ). An example is King George111 who was as mad as a cut snake ,and cost the Brits the American colonies . Queen Elizabeth is surely a hard act to follow , but given that King Charles is still on his trainer wheels I wouldnt write him off just yet.

To say we belong to the earth is Gaia worship and anthropomorphic thinking. The earth belongs to us as you said, James.

How sad it is to see our descend to espousing such nonsense. He really is hastening the end of a constitutional monarchy.

Thanks Heather,

I realised that after I had posted my comment.

I often lapse into a coma( intentional) when I stumble onto anything from or about King Chilla.

Grammar is fun and sadly missing in everyday use.

Good onya for picking it up.

Your comment Scout lapsing into a coma is classic! 😄

Spot on as usual, James! When Charles changed Defender of the Faith to *Faiths* he broke the 1st Commandment. He has lost his stable bearings and now has many gods like Climate Change. He doesn’t have the moral or spiritual integrity of his beloved mother.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Genesis 1:26

After reading Genesis chapter one, when you think about the order of events that took place in creation, it is interesting to note that mankind was the last piece of creation to be formed - the last piece of the puzzle to be slotted in. I don't believe this was a coincidence. I believe that all the events which took place from day 1 to day 5 inclusive, were brought about, in order to accommodate for the event which occurred on day 6 - the creation of mankind.

This reminds me of how a loving mother-to-be prepares the nursery for her baby, before the baby's arrival. She might set up the cot and the change table one day, add baby's clothing to the nursery the next day, followed by cot linen the next, then some soft toys the next, then nappies and wipes the next, then put some bright, cute pictures on the walls the next day, etc..., until the nursery is ready for the arrival of her baby. Then finally, she will put her beloved baby in the nursery.

I believe this is how mankind fits into the story of creation. We are central to it. It was made for us. Not the other way around. And we were made for the purpose of worshipping and bringing glory to God.

So, when King Charles says, “The earth does not belong to us, we belong to it.”, you can be sure that this is a lie, straight from the mouth of Satan.

Beautifully said. And not only were we made to worship and glory God but we were meant to be His companions too and walk and talk with Him. Imagine that!

That's very true. He made us, not only because He wants to love us, but also because He wants us to love Him.

Love the theology James - the Genesis account of creation and God bringing forth mankind is awe-inspiring and wondrous.

King Charles it would seem has more affinity with Gaia than the Magnificent Creator of the universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. 👑

"The earth does not belong to us - we belong to it". King Charles must have copied that precept from the Australian aborigines.

Psalm 24: 1. “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof …. “. As you correctly stated from the Creation account James, God has given us the earth to care for it - but He still holds the world in His hands. King Charles proclaiming himself as defender of the FAITHS puts him on very shaky ground - how sad that he has not followed the Christian example of his mother. Psalm 24 continues …” Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.”

Thanks, James, you zeroed in on the hypocrisy and contradictions of the climate change movement. If any one can’t see through Kind Charles and all the ambiguous, contradictory, hypocritical things he says and how he lives, then they’ve got a B-I-G problem!

Unfortunately all the climate changers are either stupidly calling for their own demise and the demise of the rest of us or they are living elite lives like kings. Unbelievable stupidly or unbelievable manipulation.

Exactly. And what a far cry King Charles is from his mother too! It is so sad. I miss so much not having our beloved Queen Elizabeth anymore. She was a morally upright woman of integrity and principles and a true leader of the Church of England.

I miss her too, Heather. She was a stable and constant world influence all my life. A truly beautiful feminine strong woman. And she worked pretty much right up to the day she went to heaven. I’m glad that she’s having the rest and joy she so deserves with her beloved Philip.

King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus is my KIng and one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I can't imagine what that will be like for someone so pampered and King Charlie who, although head of the Church of England has more affinity with Islam
