Not a thing said by yourself ,or any of the contributors I could disagree with but the mindset is different today than it was ,when I as a 16 year old, joined the Parramatta Rifle Club. .303 rifle was 3quid,heavy target barrel was 7 quid and a micrometer aperature sight 7 quid and 3point sling was 30 bob and you were ready to go, as well equipt as the latest Queens prize winner. shoots were from 900yards down to 300 yards and the cost was government subsidised. We also were sworn to "resist the Queens enemies in time of war The Hawke labor gov. squashed that one . At the same time ;a little later when I was embarking on an aviation career(at my own cost )Avgas (aviation spirit) was cheaper at the flying school than car petrol. The reason was that the government of the day wanted an embryonic pool of trained pilots in case of war. Whitlams labor government squashed that one as well It would appear that labor was against anything that might in some small way help out if needed. With our crazy "inclusion, and diversity multi culturalism and out of control immigration policy how the hell could we build an army of like minded people who would wish to defend Australia. Wake up labor or we will lose the next one.If we havent already.

So true Bob, we have no unity in this country / world any more, our inclusivity is what will ultimately undo us all, our government has long betrayed us and weakened our position. It is so sad to see what was fought so bravely and passionately for long ago being eroded from within.

James, this is article is ‘top shelf.’ Brilliant, insightful. Am I allowed to share it?

Thanks Gary. Go for it.

"They (Hamas) rape and behead their enemies." Hamas kill anyone who does not agree with them - even their own. Then we have Shia and Sunni Islamists, and they have murdered millions of each other. The west is blind and weak, it would be nice to think that what we face now might be enough to turn us around before it is too late! Thanks for the article James.

I was feeling a little optimistic this morning......well that didn't last long James haha. Thank you for your insight on the world as it stands today. I don't think I will be building a bunker tomorrow but I will continue to be informed and empowered to do and say what needs to be done and said. Australia has had the impression for a long time that we are immune to a hot war on our own land. Im not sure if that is so true any more. I hope and pray that I am wrong, however I think that we need to come to terms with the fact that life may look very different in the not to distant future. My hope or optimism in not in man, his plans or his decisions, but in God and His faithfulness.

Well written and so true, James. As to our preparedness or lack thereof, we are really in a barbed wire canoe trying to paddle across a river full of piranha. We all know how it will end but it's too late to go back to the boatbuilder and get a new one. Our leader is like Neville Chamberlain in WW2 after speaking to Hitler, thought peace was achievable. Fortress Singapore fell because all the defensive guns faced the water. No one thought an attack would come through dense jungle to the north. In the 1960's Save Our Sons rallied to stop National Servicemen being sent to Viet Nam because it was a war we should not be involved with. Boat people came from the fallen South Vietnam and reached our shores for asylum. Now we see refugees, or displaced people from mainly Muslim countries welcomed to our shores. However, their "baggage" was not checked and now we have insurrection from within. Too late for National Service even if SOS demonstrators aren't round any more. Because the Secular Humanists have emasculated our will to fight and have left us more concerned about Woke, LGBTQ+++ ideas which are contrary to our norms and belief values. Christianity has been made to appear foolish and backward, a threat to progress. Now we see good is bad and bad gets away Scott free. The biggest problem is that there is a great delusion over the world, and we are witnessing Western Democracy waning. There is a Divine Power still in control of world affairs, but the delusional goggles are blinding all too many from being able to do something about it.

Damn. Mac! I can’t even, that had me in line for coffee balling my eyes out!

So well written. And so terrifyingly true!

As I stood here reading this I looked around at me at the hundreds of shoppers just happily going about their day in total oblivion to how dire our situation is, so self absorbed in their own lives, not at all engaging with others and pleasantries but just doing what makes them feel good, all so disengaged from what is upon us.

Sometimes I wish I could be so blissfully unaware. I just pray for Gods mercy and his peace to return to the world, but I know it won’t come without a war first.

Today’s Richardson Post gives a very interesting reason for what is currently underway in Gaza.

As for your post James, you have set out so well what our politicians and others have missed, ignored or otherwise been a party to the problems we now face.

Blind Freddy could see the folly of allowing such a large proportion of Muslims to congregate in Australia.

They are testing the waters at the moment as evidenced by the protest at the Opera House and then by the hoard of hundreds descending on the Jewish community in Caulfield.

Armed uprising is close and needs a heavy hand to control the Muslim community before that happens.

Brilliant words James.

It reminds me of that saying that goes something like " strong men create good times, weak men create bad times ". I have long suspected that the socialist UN has been undermining the West for decades. The climate alarmists and the alphabet team have worked hard to weaken our beliefs and values. So many young adults now choosing to not have children have nothing worth really fighting for. They might stir up some dust to protect their furbabies but I guarantee they won't put their lives on the line for them.

This ridiculous, brain dead climate stuff is going to be our undoing and we won't have enough brave, strong people to fight for our country.

I am praying for more time to wake people up.

You’ve put into words exactly what I’m thinking, and that I could never find the words for myself! We have much work to do in western democracies if we are to avert World Wars 3. Thank you James!

General Douglas McArthur in assessing the hot war with North Korea and the cold war with the USSR, used only two words to describe the US and its allies' reaction": Too late! Too late!"

We should have nipped the communists in the bud when it was still possible.

Brilliant James. I was a 9 year old child in 1956 when the Suez crisis hit. It was terrifying to my understanding, the news via radio was talking nuclear war back then and I have never forgotten what I felt at that time. That was chicken feed compared with today. Everything you say is exactly right. As a country,we have a depleted defence force and given our weapons and vehicles away to Ukraine. My grandson who is a Padre in the RAAF tells us that morale is so low and there is no respect among the ranks. This is our "prepared for war" defence force! We look at Israel and know this is as spiritual as it gets, anything to do with Israel is spiritual, so we look at ourselves as Christians and know there is a war raging for our very souls. We call on the name of Jesus, we speak Jesus over every situation, we know by reading the Bible that things are not falling apart, they are falling into place for that terrible time of the Great Tribulation. We understand that as Born again believers, we won't be here for that, so looking at the scenery, we must realise that very soon we shall be out of here. God help those left behind!

A brilliant but chilling and sobering piece indeed James. Your article needs to be in The Spectator and The Australian. You have brought together all the evil players and it is a terrifying picture ....but God 🙏🏻

I have already sent on to politically minded friends and will forward to some more switched on MPs.

A clarion call James, thanks mate. Dark days ahead for sure and you’ve put your finger on it superbly. Where is our Churchill? So many of the West’s ‘leaders’ couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag let alone lead a nation through dark times. Thanks again for your excellent insights.
