I have considerable reservations about the type of immigrant coming in from Gaza, but I understand that Samaritans Purse is helping to settle in up to 300 Christian Gazans. Though I expect they may well be tainted by the hate rhetoric of the Hamas ideology, I am hopeful that this particular group may adjust well(if the security checks are completed properly) and they remain in Australia. Hopefully at least their children may adjust, if they remain here. I believe that it was difficult, even pre war, to leave the place, and I don't know how they coped as a community in such a restrictive environment. I want to find out more about this group. Too true! Sad, but true. We need to be praying for bold, godly, wise leaders to rise up in the liberal party. Men and women respected in their communities who are brave enough to stand up for their convictions and act on them. It's time we had a collective voice standing for truth and justice and transparency in our government. They should be held accountable. Why are they not? Nobody in the Arab world want the Arabs from Gaza or the territories. They didn’t want them back in 1948 and they don’t them now.
