Anal is being his usual schmuck self, grandiosing again for media purposes in a helicopter (no comments about flying and climate change) at tax payers expense ( who else?), trying to make out that he is concerned, making up stories about our harsh land getting worse while he has been PM. Thank you for the facts provided James - something these clowns currently running the country don’t bother to check and just make up stories on the run in an endeavour to make themselves look good! It’s no use trying to tell them the facts either as they would howl you down as a bigot, racist and/or a ‘phobic’ of some description. There's an advert for "My pocket hose", which easily folds up and you can carry it in your pocket, it won't kink and is made with a durable material, designed for and used by fire-fighters!"
Maybe the tax payers can buy one for our esteemed and experienced (I flew over the fire in a helicopter), PM.
Might even be useful for putting out the spot fires caused by the 'eucalyptus saps' in his Ministerial Team!
But I have to say you are being very kind to Albo. The Grampians fire started on 17th December and expanded rapidly. For him to turn up on 28th December hardly showed any urgency. That's worse than the synagogue fire. Yes, he had to go for a photo opportunity in Darwin for something that happened 60 years ago but he has Toto, he could have been there on Boxing Day, an Extreme Fire Danger Day, and encouraged the 1000 volunteer fire-fighters who had given up their Christmas. Too little, too late. I never had a problem with Morrison taking a few days with his family.
Labor has made an artform of cranking up the media for their own purposes. E.g. the disgraceful attacts by the "Mean Girls" on Linda Reynolds and Morrison over the Brittany Higgins affair, the Tudge Affair, Christian Porter. All destroyed by false allegations. They resigned. You don't see Labor members resigning, no matter what the issue. They just close ranks and tough it out.
How long before he reminds us that he went and Scott Morrison was in Hawaii? In case anyone has forgotten, Albo was raised up in public housing by a single mother.
