I remember that one Australian coach said, "If you don't sing the anthem then you don't play"

He wanted his players to play with their all for their country and not to be traitors on the field.

Your comment " Australian anthem bad, Australian money good.", pretty much sums it up, James. Pay enough and their conscience is appeased.

Australian sportsmen and women make a motza out of the Australian community. Taxpayers funds build their stadiums, sponsorship fills their overflowing bank accounts.Spitting in our faces isn't a good move.

Great writing, James! These people are self righteous hypocrites just like the politicians who are happy to take advantage of the status quo while spitting contempt at the flag, the people and the country that gave them this opportunity in the first place. It beggars belief!! If they feel THAT strongly about the evil of white Australians, then pull out of EVERYTHING white. But we know they won’t do that because it means going back to being primitive without money, privileges and fame. And that ain’t on the cards!!!

Absolutely. I really despise the stand these idiot thugby players. Not singing the anthem is so lame!

An independent aboriginal state would not be Independent- they would depend on the rest of us!! Keith Windshuttle says the break up of the nation is their ultimate aim. Decolonisation in action.

When I noticed that some of the sports people were not singing the anthem I thought it was because they didn't know it.

Spot on James. The hypocrisy of these players astounds me. Just because they have an ability to play sport doesn’t give them special rights.

There are rules on field they are required to play the game by and even off field there are certain standards to live by and if they don’t live up to that standard it can bring their sport into disrepute and could ultimately affect their income. That point seems to be lost on them.

Yes, it is ridiculous to allow sports men and women who decry and criticize and drag Aussie society down to stand up and claim to stand up for us AND receive huge payments from our support.

Please be honest!

If you take from our support to you please show some appreciation and honour the country allowing you to be there.
