There should be a complete moratorium on immigration. There is no need to talk to lefties - they are so predictable and boring. I switch them off or fast forward them if I have recorded a show. Most of us want the overcrowding, over development and city spread, congestion and lack of proper spoken English to be rectified. Immigration needs to end till we have caught up.

We should totally close the doors on immigration for at least two years and sort out who we have here already...then strengthen the immigration regulations

Thanks James. And never the twain shall meet.

I never disliked Pauline Hanson lol even back in the 1990s when a lot of people hated her for her views, and her kids said they are embarrassed of her.

- Even when she wore a burka to Parliament House lol I actually thought that was funny yet strong, appropriate and smart form of protesting to prove her point !

Logic is logic! But logic can be hurtful to some people sometimes, because often times a lot of people see their point of view as the correct one….or they want to say they are inclusive and kind to others.

And the consequence of going against something that is logic can be significant (even though it can be viewed as discrimination).

Although the opposing argument is that immigrants bring skills or whatever ….. at this time immigration should be cut immediately due to economical issues, illegal arrivals, CPI and cost of living ( my coffee is now $6), increased unemployment rate ….and not to mention issues occurring globally that is impacting us locally such as recessions, and wars , military aids and money printing (due to Covid etc etc ).

Australia has reached way beyond its capacity to provide for any more immigrants.

Immigration should be slashed for an indefinite period and any immigrants allowed in must be skilled in an industry which can be directly used to alleviate the problems of infrastructure and particularly housing.

Pauline Hansen is right when she said it will take years to catch up with housing alone and we have to firstly take care of those who have no alternative but to live in cars and tents.

Lack of foresight has seen our roads become overcrowded and any works to upgrade them are out of date by the time the work is finished.

A good example if poor planning is the M1 between Brisbane and the Gold Coast which is the one main road with no viable alternative. More and more residential and industrial estates along the route are being built and the new occupants need access to the M1 and it becomes a car park with a small bingle or slow down because people don’t know how to merge into flowing traffic.

Everyone but the planners could see the folly of relying on a single access road.

Great article and very pertinent, James.

When the 'invasion' of Australia happened, the founding fathers, military mostly, were forced to provide accomodation for the new, New South Welshmen. The occupying native population did not, would not or could not provide housing for these white fellas. A shortage of skilled workers and an unreliable source of supply of materials was one of their reasons.

But they did not ask to have more of these whiteys and eventually were swamped by the increase in immigration from overseas. These immigrants did not speak the local lingo, came from a different culture and went about chopping down trees and digging up sacred sights to plant green shoots which magically turned out to be edible. And they also brought new and very tasty meat to eat! No more kangaroo soup or lizard stew! Bonza! Their culture was changing.

Fast forward to 2024 and we have a very similar situation. Too much immigration, no skilled workers, a supply and demand problem and a shortage of housing! These new immigrants do not speak the local lingo, confine themselves to mixing in with others of their own culture, and are forcing Australians to change our culture!

Universities, paid by overseas entities, spew out brainless idiots who do not know TRUTH because they are offered radicalism as a better way to tear down all we have built up!

I'm just waiting to hear what Australians really think of the Sydney University and antisemitism about to hit our campuses. This is the new go-gettem fad for students who think we owe them more than they have already received by the sacrifice of others. FREEDOM!

We are in such an unworkable mess with housing, public transport, hospitals and health, education, defence, divisive self interested groups, etc. This has happened because we are led by fools and imbeciles and also because too many Australians couldn’t care less. Have we now got the time, the will, the sacrifice, the dedication and the expertise to turn this around? We have allowed God’s beautiful gift of Australia to be trashed. Many of us care deeply about the state of our once prosperous safe nation and it grieves us to see it as it is now. May God have mercy on is all and raise up godly leaders and proactive citizens to restore our beautiful Australia to at least some semblance of its former self.

Tomorrow is Anzac Day, a special and sacred day where we remember the sacrifice of thousands of young men who died for this country. May we honour them by reclaiming our beloved Australia.

Senator Hanson stands with very few others that have maintained their convictions throughout their political career at whatever cost. Even incarceration didn’t take out Pauline. Demonized yet hardly extreme or unreasonable on any issue

Excellent interview. Pauline is spot on. I don't know why she doesn't get a larger following
