THE AUSTRALIAN WAR Memorial has been vandalised with pro-Palestine graffiti.
Considering all of our wars have been fought overseas (where the dead are buried too) this memorial is all many families of the fallen have here in Australia.
And now it’s defaced.
I'll go out on a limb and say no-one gets prosecuted for this, let alone punished.
Why would the police start chasing down pro-Palestinian protestors now?
And this is why they do this: there are no consequences, there's nothing or no-one to be fearful of.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s laissez-faire attitude since October 7 has catalysed this depraved stupidity into an existential threat-pest across Australia.
(They) will stop at nothing to make their point: even dishonouring our war dead and desecrating their sacred memorial.

I NEVER cease to be amazed at how the Democrats make everything about race, and get away with it.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson was quizzed this week over documents showing he had spent more than $30,000 in campaign funds on hair and makeup.
He replied by saying that it was really important to support small businesses, especially those owned by people from “minority groups, and women”
So yes he had spent a lot of money on hair and make up, but he had done it at a black barber shop so it was an act of social justice.
He finished by urging gathered journalists …
“Go get your hair and makeup done by black people.”
And not a single journalist raised an eyebrow. Not even a black one.
Oh, and he deserves a refund.
ANTHONY ALBANESE has finally taken a stand, declaring $8.50 for a sausage in bread at Sydney’s Vivid Festival as “unAustralian”.
Great to see the PM finally take a strong stand on something. Pity it was about a sausage.

PEOPLE AT pro-Palestinian rallies fall into one of two groups - those who are religious, and those who don’t know that they are religious.
The rallies I’ve attended have had their fair share of Muslims who, acting according to the tenants of Islam, hate the Jews and applaud jihad.
(That’s not an exaggeration. In Sydney, on June 2, I observed a pro-Palestinian rally at Hyde Park in which people literally cheered for Hamas)
But there are a lot of people at those rallies who were clearly not Muslims, and yet just as religious as their hijab-wearing Islamic bedfellows.
In the West we became so smart that we decided we didn’t need religion. We poo-pooed Christianity as outdated and inconvenient and unnecessary.
We could live without religion, we assured ourselves.
The problem, of course, is that the religious impulse is intrinsic to human nature. It will be satisfied somehow, and so it will manifest somewhere.
We are built for worship, and we will worship something.
You don’t need to go to a church to have a religious experience.
When you look at a sunset and feel a sense of awe, that’s a religious experience.
You may not have any theology to explain it. But that feeling of awe and wonder is spiritual. It’s certainly not material.
When you witness the birth of a child, or the death of a loved one, there is a similar feeling of other-worldliness.
There are many forms that religion can take, but religion will take a form.
So in the West we mocked, ridiculed and marginalised Christianity until the faith of our fathers became laughable and publicly unacceptable.
While some rejoiced, wiser heads are now realising this was not the victory some thought.
Famed atheist, the biologist Richard Dawkins, now admits it was a grave mistake to demonise Christianity. Not because he now believes in the Christian faith (he doesn’t) but because he sees Christianity has been replaced, not by nothing, but by something.
And that something - namely Islam and Marxism - is far worse than the Christianity he once derided.
Getting rid of Christianity doesn’t rid the world of religion. It simply invites unhealthy expressions of religion to take its place.
And that’s where we are now at.
Marxism is nothing more than an unhealthy expression of the human need for spirituality.
The progressive left boast of creating a “paradise on earth” populated by a “new man” who will reset humanity and create a new “day one”.
And it all sounds terribly exciting until everyone arrives at the guillotine or the gulag, as is always the way.
But the promise of the new man - and setting the clock back to begin again from the first day - is religious language. And there is no amount of blood that can’t be spilt to advance the cause.
This is why Leftists have no problem chanting with Islamists for Intifada.
Speaking of chanting, the most prominent feature of a pro-Palestinian protest, it too is highly religious in nature, mimicking a church service where the priest speaks and the congregation responds.
The pro-Palestinian movement in Western countries is, at its core, not a knowledge issue or a political issue. It’s a spiritual issue.
Becoming too wise for our own good, we dismissed Christianity, assuming religion would simply disappear.
We forgot that we are intrinsically religious.
And so without a health expression of spirituality available, unhealthy expressions have arisen in its place.
A vacuum will - and has - been filled by something.
Faith, hope and love has been replaced by Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
How Great Thou Art has been replaced by Allah Akbar.
Blessed are the Humble has been replaced by Pride Month
And on, and on it goes.
The West is now seeing the results of misplaced spirituality and misguided religion.
All those who disliked Christianity will hate the fruit of what is to come.

This is a very sad time for Western democracy. I feel that the narcissistic views of our younger generations, brought about by wealthy & good times since WW2 is at the base of bringing down our civilisation. Basic needs are extremely well catered for, so they can turn their minds to re- thinking everything we stand for. I don't wish hard times but that may be what it will take to wake us all up..
The War Memorial. Tolerating anti social behaviour under the guise of freedom of expression and right to protest has given way to this disgusting result. Whats just as bad is that the acting chief of the ACT police has called it " very disappointing" and the head of the war memorial is "saddened"
Others have couched their dismay with of course the right to protest.
Many US agencies as well as many of ours are going full woke nonsense and of course there will be a huge price to pay ( mainly by our children's generation ) for allowing this nonsensical rubbish to continue largely unchallenged
The idiots chanting for Hamas, another price for stupidity where the piper will have to be paid. Hamas is ultra orthodox moslem cult .. these uncovered scantily clad females ( bare arms, legs and uncovered hair,, constitutes scantily in their minds ) and students who like a beer or two, the odd joint and snort coke every now and then,,, won't last 10 minutes living under the tyrannical regime they are supporting. Oh and the gay, and LGBQI+++ , how positivley stupid can people be ? Freemasons and Rotary and similar are also seen as enemies. Its in their constitution Article 17. Feminists will be delighted with article 18... essentialy a womans place is in the home rearing children etc.
You're right James about replacing God with Marxism. Marx was a perpetual failure at every thing he touched. Its only because Engels who came from a wealthy family supported him financially that he didn't starve. he spent most of the money on cigars and in fact 3 of his 9 children did die of starvation .This is the role model of a new generation of losers
