I can’t stop laughing, you are hilarious! You are right - what has happened to us if we can’t enjoy taunting the opposition at a footy match. Particularly the Poms oops might get hauled over the coals and banned for that word - disrespectful and all😀

Eddie tried to keep his cool but that bloke obviously wasn't a "fan."

Rugby Australia have a ZERO TOLERANCE to human behaviour.. Eddie Jones should know better BTW.. His response was worse than the hecklers

It just gets worse James. I recall Nick Farr-Jones being asked a vacuous question by a NZ journo and he merely walked away. I would not be surprised if Eddie was not his coach at the time but it could have been Bob Dwyer. Anyway that had class. As much as we hated the Wallabies we all thought that. I played rugby until I was 51 mainly due to too many brain injuries resulting in rank stupidity. I saw much worse than what was dished out to Eddie and people cheered. It's all part of the entertainment. I remember the one at Eden Park where the bloke yelled out "ref you're a bastard" to which was enquired "who called the ref a bastard" the response being "who called the bastard a ref" which was greeted with great acclaim as it should have been. Now that would make the rugby union wallahs smoke now and three blokes would be chucked out for saying "bastard"-a form of abuse for the parentally challenged.

Reminds me of a great cricketing story. An English player complained to Australian captain Ian Chappell that one of the Aussies had called him a bastard.

Chappell was furious.

Together with the offended English player Chappell stormed into the Australian dressing rooms and demanded:

"Which one of you bastards called this bastard a bastard?"

How does the old nursery rhyme go? 'Sticks and stones may... but names will never hurt me'.

Might be time for RA and Eddie to be a little less, how do you say, hurty.
