I wonder when Peter Dutton is going to come out swinging. He has so much material and the average Aussie is completely fed up with the bs.

Every Lib/Nat, MP/Senator, could have their own talking point. They only need one because there’s so many to go around. Getting the new policy related to the old rubbish would be SIMPLES!

All they need to do is hammer it home.

Do it NOW!

Maybe Albo will call the election just to shut them all up!

I do agree. Time for not so mild mannered Dutton to come out all guns blazing with his convictions and principles. (Mixed metaphors there!🤣)

No doubt we will soon see a crisis developing in the mental health of children and adolescents because of climate change.

Questions such as "what are the links between hotter temperatures and young peoples mental health?" are already being asked

We doubtlessly need Ms Tilley to keep flying around the world working for us (???)

Both my kids were born in Port Hedland and to suggest that being born in a hot climate is mentally retarding both stupid and insulting . Both of my kids got UNI degrees and both displayed a more mature attitude to life than a lot of inner city greenies or labor politicians . Do a course of study in meteorology Bowen before you lie to us about CLIMATE CHANGE because you will know then that your lies only make you look ineffective and stupid.

I believe the academic standards in Singaporean schools leave us well and truly behind.

Indian graduates are running some of the biggest companies in the world etc etc

Singapore instils dicipline in schools and in general . When I arrived in Singapore to join the company I worked with in Bangladesh I noticed ,at the airport a sign Dada equals death (death penalty for drug trafficing )and as I was waiting for a taxi being a smoker then spat my cigarette but onto the footpath (both arms full of bags )when I got a prod in the ribs by a little copper about five foot high ,he just pointed to a street sign that advised a $500 fine for littering . I immediatley dropped my bags picked up the butt and dropped it in the nearest bin about 2 yards away . He smiled a mouthful of gold teeth and walked off leaning to starboard under the weight of his .455 Webly revolver We seem to have lost interest in instilling dicipline into children in our schools ,and the law is useless bailing underage kids for serious crimes only for them to repeat the performance again the same day and skite about it .

Yes agree. SIngapore is generally a very safe country and recidivism rate of prisoners released from jail within 2 years is in the region of 21-22%.

Discipline and the "shared values " of the National above community, society above self, Family as the basic unit of society, consensus , respect for the individual and racial and religious harmony are very different from the rubbish dumped into our children's heads and the heads of our youth in general here in Australia

Australian recidivism rate 42.5% (NSW 49.1 % Tasmania 52 % and NT 58.2% )

Not a surprising figure in the NT where a sizable population of people who are told that they dont need to obey white blokes law ,everything belongs to us .And do what they like with impunity .

Ms Tilley has a flying kangaroo pin on her lapel, mmmm ..or is it an extinct dinosaur.

Albo has organised Bowen to equip Ms. Tilley's small yacht, called "Solar Wind" with Solar Panels and Wind Turbines to escape the storm clouds brewing at home so he can prove to the Elites just how conscientious he is about Climate Change action. Bowen was going to be the Ambassador of Energy until he discovered lithium batteries and salt water do not mix! He's really drawn now.

Up in his retirement Mansion on the hilltop, the PM checks the tide heights every day and is astounded to find tides do rise! His wife reminds him that they also fall, just like his popularity. Meanwhile the fax machine spits out the rising inflation and energy costs graphs, from charming "Jim" the treasurer, (nicknamed 'Kitty'), which utterly confuses him and so he curls up in a foetal position, hugs Toto and sucks his thumb. It's all too much for him! "I wish I wasn't the PM!"

I wish he wasnt the PM as well

Mark my words, Jodes will be gone after he loses and is no longer PM. The house is her payment in full for services rendered.

What do you know Christine that we dont ? Surely not a rerun of Billy McMahon and Sonia ?

Weeell, she appeared in the Women’s Weekly as part of his makeover, along with Toto. And it seems mighty convenient to use “surprise engagement” when polls are down, and then the “marriage” talk another time. Call me a cynic, but there is just no chemistry. Nada. Zip. A necessary appendage for official functions.

Oooooohh! Christine.....claws are out. Will she survive the Coalition tsunami in the Mansion on the Hilltop?

Great article again James - thank you. The thing that amazes me is the barefaced approach to flying everywhere (probably asking and being given upgrades with Qantas) these people have and no compunctions purchasing seaside property and in the next breath telling us all sorts of lies about cows flatulence, my car emitting unacceptable emissions etc etc etc! There is a day of reckoning coming - just like Y2K came and went! Another heavily politicized scam that generated a small minority of so called "consultants" millions of dollars worldwide. The BBB Theory (Bs Baffles Brains) will survive humanity I'm sure James. My mother always told me that "the devil is the father of liars" - bring on the day of reckoning.

These clueless people are just so ridiculous. Do they realise we see their hypocrisy? They must have no mirrors in their houses.

I shudder to think how many thousands are feeding from governments (at all levels) trough. Totally unproductive, on big salaries, hobnobbing with the self-righteousness elite. No doubt friends an family. Totally unaccountable to anyone.

Great insight as usual James. I was just reading today in 2 Peter, especially 3:10-13 "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare (real global warning!) .... BUT GOD ... in keeping with His promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. (NIV). Maranatha!

Banglasesh ? I spent five months there in 1973 Flying a light aircraft for a maritime salvage operation (getting sunken ships out of the rivers ?) So much smoke in the air (75 million cooking fires ) that visibility was only 2 to 3 miles on a fine day . Now Bangladesh is building two new nuclear power stations if third world shit holes like that can utilise nuclear power why cant we Bowen ? They will probably use our uranium as part of our foreign aid programme .

Raise awareness indeed! Are these people serious or just on a permanent junket? I wouldn’t mind a job like hers travel here there and everywhere telling people to stop passing wind because they are polluting the planet! Why are we allowing this idiocy to continue? The only awareness that most of us would be aware of is ire!
