I am glad it made the news, we need some real people to be good examples for the world to see.

Why should anyone feel they have more rights than others? England invented the queue.

The five inalienable rights (God given to all men) are the freedoms of religion, speech and press and the rights to peaceably assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

No mention of special rights to cut the queue.

Awww what a gentleman. I would have waited with him and gone and grabbed coffees! 🤣 interesting that a small humbled action can be viewed to be so outstanding!

I suspect quite a few people would have been willing to wait with him, fetch him coffees ...

Yes James a true gentleman and I would have a beer with him and I would shout. As for that sanctimonious Joe Hunt of a pratt Clooney he can go thirsty and/or drown himself in the rising tide. Shouldn't he be contributing to the meeting with Charley with all the other world's vacuous folk instead of winding up the hoi pollois?

I agree. It was a lovely thing for him to do. For the Queen and the people. Well said as always

Thanks for bringing to light something that offers hope that not all celebs are into self aggrandisement. How sad though that this is ‘news’ 🙄

Earlier this year I received a 30ml Eau de Toilette branded David Beckham. In the light of his recent gesture of declining an offer to jump the queue it is interesting that the product was named "Respect". Well done David.

David Beckham showed his integrity and deference to his beloved late Queen. Whilst the media jumped on and conflated a celebrity story to attract as many readers and viewers as possible.

Thanks for sharing James, your last paragraph sums up the story perfectly.
