Great article James. Thank you.

It concerns me that these things are not being addressed or discussed amongst congregations by our church leaders. It’s like the EndTimes. Too controversial. Don’t want to make waves. As churches, we need to man up! (Can I say that 🤔)

The time is coming when Christian schools and churches are going to have stand forth against accepting state money and go it alone or go underground. These moronic leaders know exactly wha they are doing. But unfortunately the possible incoming LNP will, be no better. Crisafuli strikes me as an Italian Scott Morrison. He seems not to want stand up for Christians. The UniParty will continue to reign.

The ideologues in this government have Christianity in their sights. They are, as far as common sense and rule of law are concerned, a waste of time. Given they are going to be tested by the people in a few months time, those of us that care about our ability to practice our Faith freely should be exerting maximum pressure on the LNP and its candidates. They should be so hungry for government they might, and I say might, actually commit themselves to unravelling this nonsense and replacing it with something more considered and sympathetic to religious faith. Thus, I urge you to quiz your candidates thoroughly when you have the opportunity and to write to LNP Headquarters. May God Bless you in your endeavours.

"Numerous parents have complained to the Principal. They argue that they chose a Baptist school in order to shield their children from gender confusion."

With a feeling of frustration, the Principal would probably be thinking, "So did I! So did I!"

Thanks for giving us a laugh about this crazy state of affairs James! If you don't laugh you'd cry....

I’m sure that anyone who failed to support the same sex marriage vote, did so because of the belief that should a yes vote win, would have consequences.

Well, we are now seeing the dire depths of the consequences with an expectation that there is more to come.

A good thing out of the on going craziness is the emergence of James Macpherson with his humorous wit which lets us know that there is hope of a commonsense fight back against all the crap being thrown at us.

Indeed James, this is what we expect from the Labor Party (although knowing the cowards that they are, Muslim schools will be exempt) but will a Crisafulli government have the spine to reverse it? Somehow I don’t think so.

Expand full comment

Crisafuli won't and we cannot expect Stoker if she gets a seat do so.

That, Philip, is the big unknown

"Or maybe it’s not ineptitude. Perhaps the Labor Party simply hold people of faith in contempt. I’ll let you be the judge."

I think it's that they hold Christians in contempt. 'Inclusivity' is all about the rejection and excluding of Jesus Christ and His followers.

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:18-19

Today's Labour Party is not the Labour Party is was on its inception.

Extremely good point about 'inclusivity'.

Thank you for alerting us to these draconian laws James. The more one learns about what goes on in Government, the more unbelievable and distressing it all becomes. The bottom line is non of these people who bring these laws into being have any regard for the God of the Bible, and the people of Australia are negatively affected as a result. What a terrible influence they, and the laws they bring into being, are on young people who are trying to grow up in this world and make sense of it all.

I am reminded of the scripture in Matthew 18 : verses 5 and 6. " If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea." If that were to take place it wouldn't be climate change that would cause the water levels to rise?!

I have written to Politicians in the past and shared God's heart regarding legislation which they were pushing to be introduced but none took a blind bit of notice. Malcolm Turnbull and Tanya Pliberseck were two in question but both pushed on in total disregard and opposition of what God, our Creator, states in His word.

Nevertheless, we must not lose heart. God sees it all and one day He will put an end to all this crazy stuff which is going on in the world. Let's pray that those who make bad choices, including ourselves, will repent and go forward in a way which is pleasing to our heavenly Father. The alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

Hi James,

What horrible hypocrisy and discrimination this government are proponents of. Well written though - and might I add, you had way too much fun coming up with those names!

Since the alphabet people are such a small minority of the population, it has to be the silence of the majority that is responsible for all this nonsense. Seriously flawed, this government is bowing to woke pressure and making out that they're cool.

Because good men are silent, evil can flourish.

True. Though it will be the Christian who finds himself/herself in jail for standing by his/her values, that will, through his/her actions, speak in the loudest voice of all. God will use such people for His glory.

Another perfect example of STUPIDIOCRISY. Thanks for another humorous take James - sadly if I didn't laugh I would cry. "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive" Sir Walter Scott (1808). Used to describe destructive consequences of lies and the impact on people's lives as well as a domino structure of complications which will eventually run out of control.

Brilliant. Not sure if these are tears from laughing or distress over the idiots who are ruining this country. God save us all 🙏

😂😂😂 Well done James. I can’t imagine we need any more reasons to get rid of the Labor Party. In fact they should have been ousted before the abortion to birth laws came in. It’s not like they didn’t warn us they were campaigning for them.

I’ve often wondered what the QLD church is teaching its congregations because there must be plenty of ‘Christians’ to vote them out and keep them out.

Accepting the status quo seems to be so easy. We need to see it as a rock band that’s had its time and speak up against these evil, perverted politicians.

The LNP won't do any better.

Yes they’re very disappointing and no matter who’s in opposition it’s like they don’t even exist.

I’d like someone to start talking about bringing back an Upper House in QLD but the suggestion falls on deaf ears.

Very very clever Mac! This shows the total absurdity of our world. How we co to ye to exist in the coming times will be interesting, but we need to start getting very loud and speak up to protect our children and our rights moving forward.
