I read yesterday the Germans have demolished 1 wind farm so they can mine the land under it for the coal.

When will our govt catch up to the Germans rethink and adopt sensible policies?

Thanks, James for pointing out the emperor has no clothes for at least down to his jocks. I can never understand why coal burnt in Australia is bad for greenhouse gases but we can ship millions of tons to China and they burn it and suddenly it's green or ok at least? Hypocrisy and defying logic. However nuclear on a small-scale with portable plants seems to make sense with low-grade waste from other countries, extracting remaining fuel and power and disposing of the fully depleted fuel. It won't be too long and we will realise Labour's dream of having no power whatsoever and yet having to somehow recycle tons and tons of lithium battery waste. Added to this is obvious issue of carbon fibre blades that can't be recycled from windmills and the massive cost of removing concrete pads for wind turbines out in ocean and on land. And they call this progress?

Turbines and solar panels are the real threat

Yes, how wonderfully stupid is that. We now live in Alice in Wonderland

apologies for such an off the track comment, but I have been reading, "Our corrupt legal system" by Evan Whitton. Here is the book if you are interested in knowing just how corrupt they all are.

They are protecting their source of bribes, the renewables industry along with the money they invested it renewables companies.

CO2 is food for plants, increases food production for people to eat and has nothing to do with controlling the weather. That is the real science, not the fake science they use to scare children with.

We’re going to look like the world’s biggest idiots when we’re sitting in the dark and burning wood for cooking on an open fire which is attempting to keep us warm.

I am already using wood, but it is in a wood fired stove that I cook my meals on and even toast in the oven. They are killing all the trees with their chemtrails so I am putting the dead wood to good use and saving on my electricity bills.

We are deluded if we believe that the rest of the world will follow our naĂ¯ve energy policy and reduce their carbon emissions. Nuclear power has been effectively harnessed elsewhere in the developed world.

Coal does not have nuclear waste and provides CO2 for plant food, win, win.

Glad I won't be here when everything goes back to the dark ages. That I should care for my grandchildren and great grandchildren who might have to live through this rubbish, the little ones knowing no difference. What a travesty! There was nothing wrong with the power stations we had or still have, they do their job and are not polluting the atmosphere like these ridiculous politicians. Jesus come quickly!

The present world order we live in is really of satanic design (Daniel 2 and 7). All these problems have been factored in and there are no human solution to satanically created problems. But on the dust and ashes of this world civilisation we have a divine promise of a new, much better world. Dianne, your grandchildren, and also my own, will be in that new world.

There are worse things than death. I'd like to see the stats on the number of people who lived shortened lives, or lives of agony, or passed on radiation poisoning to next generation.........as a result of Nuclear power leakage.

all the more reason to stick to coal for cheap and reliable energy.

Driving up the Hume highway to Sydney this week we passed the literally hundreds of wind towers near Gunning ( too hard to count accurately). A couple , say 10, were turning very slowly. I said to the driver we should take a photo to keep for 40 years, when there won't be any turbines anywhere in the world. They are useless, expensive, use vast amounts of resources, last 20/25 years and should have batteties_ same comments on batteries.

They require grid power to make them turn.

These corporatised politicians are just the most corrupt and bottom scraping individuals that I have ever seen in my life time. They protect their big Pharma, renewable mates and have no interest in governing for the people.

We who just want to able live quietly are of no interest to them.

You must not have seen a lawyer lately, they are just as bad and many politicians are lawyers.
