The arrogance of this man and this government is so palpable it turns my stomach.

The spirit of Australia has definitely changed since his tenure in office. Once Australians accepted everybody, and we all got a fair go. Currently Australians are no longer allowed a say if it doesn’t match the tyrannical airlines political opinion (Ask Israel Folau about that one).

Joyce has done his job of ushering out the old fashioned culture of equal opportunity for all, and has left us with ‘You only get what the corporates honour you with!’ Comply Comply Comply.

I choose wherever possible not to fly Qantas and have for a very long time. Overpriced, shitty service and an attitude to match. Good riddance to that interfering political midget. Should have happen years ago.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 LOVE THE HEADLINE. Glad he’s going. Angry he gets so much money he couldn’t possibly have earned, nor did he. He has ruined Qantas.

People like that get ahead in our twisted world, but not even their grave will be a refuge for them on judgment day!

Hudson Fysh the founder of Qantas would be disgusted by the present goings on. He began the airline to be a symbol of integrity and honour to fly Australians in a safe airline across our continent and then around the world.

Used to be proud to fly frequently with Qantas. "Old coat" and all that. Felt looked after. Not the same now. It's a pig's breakfast. Made me sell my Qantas shares before all this kerfuffle occurred. Glad I did.

Great comment(his baggage will not go with him.), James. As you imply, his parachute is so big he won't know he touches the ground. What is worse is that he's rewarded for his abusive management style that he has wielded with no obvious conscience. Qantas has a massive job ahead to even regain a semblance of dignity.

Marles should demand they give back the 2 billion we loaned them during lockdowns that were not needed as there was no emergency, no virus and there were plenty of medications for colds and flu if they hadn't banned them.

Joyce should give back every dollar and pay for his airfare back to Ireland.

He should be sacked and not allowed to retire after the way he has destroyed the airlines he was in charge of.

This is overdue and he should have gone when he publicly gave QANTAS support behind marriage of Sodomites while he is one himself and forced all employees to support it or get sacked.

Then he sacked pilots for not taking an experimental gene therapy bioweapon that has now injured and killed many pilots, put passengers in danger and caused such a shortage that many flights have had to be cancelled. He is not a doctor and so he is just playing politics to get favors from the government.

Then the new CEO should pull their support for the voice and try to stay out of politics in future.
