So well written. Common sense and logic that is supposed to be present in everything psychologist's do and say. But they are bound by regulations that prevent them bringing their profession into "disrepute", and the prevailing fashion in universities for some years is to teach victimhood.
What we really need is wisdom. Sadly, although woke wisdom sounds so logical, it has failed at so many points in its application to rescue those who are in most desperate need that another strategy needs to be considered. Strong leadership, support by families and support of families, and love that never ceases - where are these values in the woke world?

I agree 100%. Pushing gender reassignment on minors is child abuse and yet another profit center for the predatory medical profession and Big Pharma. They are preying on, and exploiting, the natural process in children and young teenagers to explore their identity. I remember, in my teenage years, recognizing I had masculine attributes and wondered at one time if I should have been male. BUT, we all have both masculine and feminine traits and if we are females with strong divine masculine energies (of logic, action, inner strength etc.) that doesn't mean we are in the wrong bodies. What these transgender propagandists are doing is ruining these young people's lives through mutilation and hormone therapy, making them infertile, and perpetrating the satanic agenda of Baphomet.
We need an enquiry into the ongoing grooming of children as they are encouraged to experiment with poisons and surgery to be able to "feel' better. We are what God has created to be-male or female. Most children grow out of this confused state. the ones who deserve your compassion are the small number of intersex people. Now that is a group we never talk about.

I remember researching the suicide rate amongst people with gender dysphoria many years ago. At the time I looked to the Netherlands where transgender people have been accepted for a long time.
Sadly, the suicide rate amongst transgender people, despite acceptance and affirmation, was still extremely high.
This seems to put paid to the argument that acceptance, affirmation etc will stop gender dysphoric people from committing suicide.
It is a lie designed to stop people mounting common sense arguments as to why people with gender dysphoria should be treated as suffering from psychological problems. This would appear to be supported by the continued high suicide rate despite affirmation, acceptance, and transition.
Curiously they still look for reasons, outside of the mental health of these people, so that they can avoid the elephant in the room.
Another point I would like to make is: It is well known that any time suicide is mentioned in the news etc, regardless of whether it is a positive or negative message, the suicide rate climbs.
Given the woke brigade talks about transgender suicide ad nauseum, maybe they should consider how they are contributing to the suicide rate among gender dysphoeic people?
I suspect the reported high incidence of depression and suicide in some of these kids has more to do with the fact they are emotinally unwell. Being told you are not what nature intended just adds to the confusion. The massive surge in hormones during puberty causes immense confusion and discomfort in some. Everybody's experience is different. Allowing children to go through puberty naturally teaches them to adapt to the changes in their body and mind. They only need advice to how the body naturally changes and what to expect and that they will be ok when the process is complete. No medical intervention required. (I am probably not articulating as well as I should but I haven't had my second coffee yet but I hope you get my drift).I was never a girly girl and still am as a grandmother

Does anyone know if it is illegal in NSW to ‘misgender’ someone? Can you be sued or referred to the Human Rights Commission?
