Politician 'Bullied' By the Unvaxxed
An inability for self reflection seems to be a side-affect of the fourth jab.
Former ABC journalist turned federal politician Zoe Daniel took to Twitter this week to boast that she had received her fourth Covid vaccination.
“Boosted today. That’s number 4. Suggest you do the same,” she wrote.
There was such a backlash - apparently people don’t like being told what to do with their bodies - that she deleted the post.
But just like the Covid, a variant soon appeared.
Along with the same photograph of her suitably masked and dutifully jabbed (see above) Ms Daniels tweeted:
“I tweeted this yesterday and have been avalanched by trolls. So have deleted to stop that thread and am reposting. I support vaccination and I had my 4th dose yesterday. Trolls, you won’t change my position with bullying and abuse, so go elsewhere”
Wait. Ms Daniel is complaining about the vaccinated being bullied? Cry me a river.
What about the millions of unvaccinated people who lost their jobs because politicians insisted on ‘no jab, no work’?
What about the Australian Medical Association opining that unvaccinated people should be refused medical treatment if they fell sick?
What about the vilification unvaccinated people faced from State premiers?
The people forced out of jobs and vilified for refusing to be coerced into a medical treatment they did not want are now the bullies and the abusers? Really?
An inability for self reflection seems to be a side-affect of the fourth jab.
Ms Daniel had Covid in January after having already been jabbed and jabbed and jabbed.
So she has gone and gotten jabbed again.
Is that what it takes to beat the Covid now? Four jabs, a Hannibal Lecter face covering and a virtue signalling re-post.
While I’m on that, normal people don’t go blabbing their vaccination status because it isn’t the centre piece of their lives.
But the jab cheerleaders feel the need to tell everyone their status. They’re like vegans.
And people who do F45.
But I digress.
I don’t think trolls, or anyone else for that matter, were trying to change Ms Daniel’s mind. She is free to become the first pin cushion in the Australian Parliament if she wishes.
Most people were reacting to her attempt at changing their minds.
If Ms Daniel wants to be jabbed up the wazoo, she is entitled to be. But she doesn’t need to advertise it.
And politicians shouldn’t be dishing out health advice about novel experimental vaccines to people they don’t know.
I’m not recommending everyone have a colonoscopy to keep me safe. And I’m certainly not posting pictures of mine. (I’m trying to grow subscriptions here!)
The reaction to Ms Daniel’s tweet was incredulity that being jabbed every three months and covering your face for the rest of your life like a villain from Silence of the Lambs is a good idea.
Will Ms Daniel be jabbed for a fifth time 12 weeks from now?
Will she be lining up for her ninth jab in late 2023?
Maybe. And good for her.
If that’s what it takes to satispfizer that she is safe from sniffles, then more power (not to mention jabs) to her.
But if you insist on virtue signalling about having a medical procedure which seems - at best - only slightly more effective than nothing and at worst injurious or even fatal to the people that take it, then you shouldn’t be surprised if the response is less than warm.
