Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced that passengers on domestic flights will not be required to wear masks as of next Friday. Yay! Wait. What? Why next Friday? Why not ditch the mask mandate immediately?
What an absolute load of rubbish. I get riled just thinking about this ridiculous rule. This is just a continuation of the "control" they got during the covid "pandemic" and they're loathe to give it up. As you say ..... There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to continue this ruling.
They are merely reluctant to let go of that control.

It’s so ironic, isn’t it, that in a pre- covid interview I recently watched, Fauci said that in an epidemic/pandemic masks were totally useless and it was far better to catch a disease and develop natural immunity which is the best protection you’ll get.
I think one of our other Christensen connected friendly bloggers snuffles nose shared a copy of a freedom of information request response from the Victorian department oof health and the national department of health where they basically replied that they have no documentary evidence for the existence of a purified lab sample of covid. Which means it most probably does not exist. Covid is a fiction and a fairy story.
Brilliant! My sister always said the covid virus was clever one-it could infect you if you stood talking to another person but not when you sat down to talk. Clever eh? Now it knows not to lie in wait on those planes after Friday next week. Clever! I want the mask mandate taken off on public transport too! Hardly anyone bothers but it is still there. So much covid theatre and fear!

Even wearing masks almost everyone I know who's travelled on a plane this year came back with the covid! But they don't seem to question it 😔
