I notice the "burn the colony" painted in a Melbourne tram. Perhaps we could start with the painter and burn his house first and all his possessions. Where are they coming from? Are they completely brain dead?

Maggots like that are unlikely to own anything of their own . Just bludge on the welfare society that they love .

Steve Price is wrong. You never concede against the noisy minority. Never. Never. Sydney put on a great Australia Day display and was inclusive of Aboriginal people with the National Anthem sung in whatever language is local there. Western Australian Noongars would not have been able to understand it but at least the sentiment was there. Perth had huge crowds to watch the fireworks and celebrate the day. I made sure my flag (bought last year) was prominently displayed on my front fence. Melbourne was a disgrace, too long under Daniel Andrew's woke reign.

I have a suggestion for all those whining self righteous hate filled lefties trashing Australia every chance they get -

‘If you hate Australian culture and history so much and are SO repulsed by it, then give EVERYTHING back that you took from this country from the day you were born in one of its hospitals. EVERYTHING. Give back your homes, your clothes, your jobs, your salaries, your health cover and right to be treated well, your easy access to plentiful food supplies, your opportunities and advantages, your education (when it was REAL education as we don’t want that woke rubbish, you can keep that), your cars, your pleasures in holidays, sport, relaxation, etc, your bank balance, ad infinitum. All that this country has ever given you. Why would you want ANYTHING from this country full of white trash.

You are using everything this country has given you as a platform and weapon against it. If Australia is such a disgusting country to you then leave it! Go somewhere else. Your presence is hypocritical and treacherous. You are a cancer in what was a healthy democracy and you are determined to reduce it to chaos, division and hatred. Shame on you!’

Now I feel better! 😄

What a disgusting display on Australia Day......a weak Prime Minister and vacuous mobs screeching about things of which they know nothing......They are all trying to CANCEL AustraliaDay and I, personally will never give up this fight. The sooner we get rid of Albo and crew, and the Greens, and the Teals and the Independents...the better. They do NOT want the best for this country. I am leaving my extra large flag on my balcony...for ever!!

I drove from the GC to Brisbane early Friday morning....not one flag anywhere...oh wait...there was one...at the Roma St Ambulance station near Milton Road Paddington....an Australian flag together with the Ambulance flag....here, here!!

Thank goodness Darwin went all out with the celebrations...amazing considering the large indigenous population up there. The thing is, it's not the indigenous Aboriginal people wanting change...it's the activists...and now we have the pro Palestinians joining them!!

Facts about Australia Day:

1. Australia does Not celebrate the landing of the First Fleet or invasion on this day

2.Capt Cook did NOT arrive in Australia on this day...he arrive 28 April 1770

3.The First Fleet arrived in Botany Bay on 18 January

4. The 26 January was the day Australia received independence from British Rule

5. Capt Cook's landing was included in the bi Centenary celebrations in 1988 when Sydney-siders decided Capt Cook's landing should become the focus of the Australia Day commemorations, Sadly the importance of this date has faded and the mainstream media want to twist the truth. Changing the date would have no impact

6. After the horrors of WW2 we decided to fix any of our past errors so on 26 January 1949 the Australian nationality came into existence, the day we were first called Australians and travel on our own Passports not British. We all ( including Aboriginals) became Australian citizens, prior to that we were all under British rule, had British passports and fought in British wars.

7. This is the reason new citizens receive their citizenship papers on this day..the Nationality of Citizens Act of 1949 gave us ALL freedom

What was achieved on that day was something we should all Australian, be proud.

We went to our 1st ever Aust day function this year while visiting Kiama for a few days holiday, hosted by the life savers. Great celebration, lots of flags everywhere, happy crowd, nice free breakfast. Positive speech from the Mayor and then the local member. A nothing and negative speech from an Aust Day Ambassador who questioned if Aust had much to be proud of. Aust Day awards were presented to volunteers for decades of volunteer work for their community. A brief, appropriate and enjoyable event was then taken over by 2 old, very obese Aboriginal men and lots of smoke to worship the evil spirits who control them so we quietly left. After a while enjoying the beach we went back past the long ceremony to see Abo women dancing in the smoke, something straight out of a zombie movie. So we left.

Pity is, they were more than likely paid for it.

I got my flags early. I put them everywhere. I also noticed more houses than usual had them on display.

It is a pity the police didn't show the same diligence when the anti Semites were vomiting their hatred after October 7th

In the last few days, I noticed two houses in our neighbourhood, who each, put a massive Australia flag up against the wall of their house. I don't know how many metres in length these flags are, but they are both on busy roads and as you drive past, you can't miss them. They look absolutely amazing. It is people like these, who inspire you to keep fighting for the Australia we know and love.

"My Sky News colleague Steve Price said on Friday that the fight to retain January 26 as Australia Day is now lost. Pointing to huge crowds marching in Sydney and Melbourne to protest the day, he said it was time to 'concede' that the argument was over."

James, to 'concede' would be to give up fighting for our democratic freedom. Is that really what we want to do??? Perhaps Steve Price is prepared to do that, but I am not. I understand how overwhelming and discouraging it must be for so many to see these big crowds trying to trash our country through their bully tactics, but remember, those crowds don't speak for the majority of Aussies.

To be honest, I really don't see what good it does for the media to bring the public's attention to these thugs. Firstly, when many ordinary Aussies who love their country see this stuff on TV, it only serves to discourage them and make them feel afraid or guilty of celebrating Australia Day. Secondly, media attention is exactly what these thugs want. So I think the best thing to do is to ignore them, unless they are being a public nuisance (which of course, they are), in which case, the police should be dealing with this.

No. It is hide time that the attention on Australia Day goes back to focussing on people who are enjoying themselves, celebrating this important day, while waving Australian flags and showing that they are proud to be Australian. This would give others courage to do the same.

The best thing Australians can do, is to keep up a positive spirit. Keep on celebrating Australia day and do it more than ever. And this is exactly what all the socialist lefts and Anti-Australian thugs don't want us to do - be positive about our country and enjoy ourselves celebrating it. Remember, there is nothing they can do to stop us. Aussies need to stop allowing these bullies to control and manipulate them regarding Australia Day. It's time to grow a backbone, Australia!! Enough is enough. We are all so sick of it.

So next Australia Day, get hold of Aussie Merchandise and have your barbeques, swim at the beach, or in the back yard swimming pool, play cricket in your backyard, go fishing, watch the sunset or whatever. Our back yard has a pretty good slope, so I think it would be pretty cool to get hold of a huge slip & slide in the image of the Australia flag, lay it down on the grass and have a great time with friends, sliding down on it with the help of a hose and detergent!

sadly not enough Aussies who love their country are brave enough to speak out and stand up for what they believe in. sadly too many have turned off the news all together or only watch a little of mainstream biased news. people don't want to know about politics or what is happening outside of their own little bubble, look at the woman who didn't even know who Peter Dutton was. Putting up a flag is one thing, but when it boils down to it, and things get real, will these people stand up and fight and use their voices or will they back down and cower for fear of losing the scant rations the govt feed them in handouts, or losing their jobs because their employers don't like their opinion. I tell you what it's exhausting being politically correct, and the lone black sheep in every crowd, and I'm tired of holding my tongue, I'm gonna speak my mind with kindness and Gods grace and so be it, what will be will be. I'm just glad we have this community here where we all think alike and can stand united.

We will not give in. Australia Day remains. These creeps want to celebrate so many other weird days. Why do they bite the hand that feeds them? If they had lived in the days of Nazi Germany, would they have still held those views? If people hate Australia so much, let them leave. However, it seems to be the grateful immigrants that appreciate this country. What a crazy mixed up world!

We can’t concede to the political activists as it will only encourage more activism in perpetuity.

We have a great country & we can’t be the generation to have this stolen from us & future generations.

It’s time for the majority to find their voices & pens (ok, keyboards) & write to their local members & give them what-for to stand up to the loudmouth, bullying, cancel culture activists who have hijacked our society & led us down the path to divisiveness.

Bring back the respect, the kindness, the pride in what we’ve built, our neighbours, our mateship, ourselves & get our society back on the right track.

One nation, one flag. As it was, as it should be. 🇦🇺🇦🇺

Last year my sons brought a full size flag to put out the front of our house for Australia Day. As is typically Australian we don’t tend to fight until we’re pushed but then we are some of the best fighters in the world especially when there is an attempt to control.

I was the same - I bought a full size Aussie flag last year after Australia Day, and hung it up at the front of my house this year. First time I’ve really felt compelled to do so.

For those in Victoria, Ritchie’s IGA was also selling Aus Day merchandise. All the flags at the Rowville store were sold out yesterday. They also had mud cakes decorated with yellow and green, with a little flag sticker.

So support this small community grocer!

It is appalling that the hate that was chanted yesterday wasn’t condemned by our political leaders. I may be naive, but shouldn’t these people be the greatest advocates for our great nation?

Why is it that anyone who opposes these screaming louts ranting against "invasion, colonisation", demanding "restitution" and complaining about "stolen land" as seen on yesterday's TV news, is automatically demonised a "Nazi"? I don't go along with all that "colonisation etc" rubbish, but I am not a despicable 'Nazi'. I had our national flag set up on my front fence yesterday - and it wasn't a 'Nazi' flag either.

The abos might like that . Ion L Idriess wrote in a book about the North Qeensland gold fields in the late 1800s where lot of miners trekking in were killed an eaten by the abos, Known to them as "long pig" they preferred to the Chinese as the best as the white blokes were too salty. Not my words one of I L Idriess books about that era.

I also read that book, but forgot its title. The part of Australia was Cape York. The white men's staple was pickled (salted) pork and beef, but the Chinese prospectors lived on rice, so they became "kai kai long pig". I also read "Drums of Mer" (Head Hunters in Torres Strait) and "The Tin Scratchers". Such books by Ion Idriess would now be seen as "politically incorrect".

I was a fan of Ion L Idriess from primary school (I still am) when in 4th class we were given a book The Great Trek about the Jardine brothers expedition from Brisbane to the top of cape York (I would be prepared to bet that most primary teachers of today would never have heard of them ,or of Cape York either ,for that matter.

I’m dismayed at the hutzpah of these Far-Right/Neo Nazi activists. Cowards who block their faces with black masks.

No date would be good enough for the Invasion Day activists.

Very disappointed with Steve Price and his commentary giving up the fight. He’s made it abundantly obvious he has no respect for Scomo. Trying to encourage his guests to slam him. To go on National TV and say he’s giving up. No true love for the values and morals of this beautiful country. Slow and steady wins the race. We must never ever give up. Good always prevails. No one said life was ever fair or easy. Have some conviction, belief and guts. It’s easy to give up.
