This is the cry we're hearing now......good God!! These wild fires occur regularly in Los Angeles and California, just like the Australian floods and fires....
There is NO EXCUSE for ill preparedness, none whatsoever!!
The blame is totally in the lap of the government and regulatory bodies.
Instead of focusing on woke idealism and throwing money at whatever cause is popular atm they have a civic duty to protect their citizens....that is what governments are supposed to do. Not use their constituents as cash cows.

Seriously? You’re bringing up FACTS now? That’s no way to woke your way to proving your point…. You need to be much more tolerant and inclusive. I’m sure that after this is “all over” there will be a multimillion (maybe even multitrillion) dollar enquiry, requiring staff, motor cars, computers, vacations and international trips that will apportion blame equitably so that everyone receives an equal proportion of the adverse outcome.

All the factors you have mentioned James also apply to the big fires here in Aust. Deliberately made bigger than they need to be. Govt departments want bigger fires so they get bigger budgets and more people.eg National Sparkes and electricity providers both get more money from taxpayers from big fires.
Shame about the farmers and home owners who just want the fires put out fast and kept small so they don't get burnt out.

It is not just the climate scam but it is a general incompetence on the part of the US in general to deal with natural disasters. This fire has been made worse by Newsome's ridiculous policies as well.
