It all comes down to "What is reasonable to a reasonable person?" In my life of 79 years, I have had very close associations with families with severely disabled children and take my hat off to those parents who persevered. The professional bleeding heart brigade who march to a different drumbeat have difficulty in thinking outside their own agenda. It is very sad to see kind words of empathy thrown on the ground and trampled upon, so ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE MOTIVE.
I am usure why all the Who Ha! Any Child in your Life is a Blessing. And looking from a Biblical sence, it is God who choses the parients of the children. Some people just don't understand, who Judges what is normal not me or you but God.
Oh dear! Does Jesus realise how many rich, healthy etc people He has offended by saying in the Sermon on the Mount ‘Blessed are the poor, the meek and NO LESS than SEVEN other categories of people? Give Bill time to put this right and blessed be him when he does. 😆
