I have a picture in my mind of Old Joe, sitting in his chair and there are 2 big red buttons. Once is for diaper change and the other is to initiate WW3. I hope he hits the right one.

Cannibalism is a past delicacy in the potpourri of life. But there are some politicians whom I would happily feed to the sharks, for ecological reasons of course.

love this, but i reckon the sharks would spit them out, nasty taste politicians have! LOL

How do we think the people of PNG became Christians? Of course Manna from heaven! The white fellas are really yummy and after they have eaten their share and getting hungry again, they just look up and wait for more Manna from Heaven to fall out of the sky! That is really so funny! I know of an island where 100 Chinese were shipwrecked and they were all eaten (true story), I should think by the time they ate the last one they would have been saying -Oh no! more Chinese! - I wonder if Japanese was as tasty as American? Probably more fat on the American - I can't stop laughing

This must have been after he asked Israel not to attack Haifa

My Dads uncle also died in PNG during WW11, about the same time as Joe's Uncle who went into the sea in his plane.

Lots of Australians are buried in war cemeteries in PNG, killed while fighting the Japanese.

Initially about 400 Australians had to try and stop 13,000 advancing Japanese on the Kakoda Trail. Eventually the Japs were pushed back to the north coast but would not withdraw by sea, so there was a lot of fighting around the towns of Kakoda and Buna, with lots of casualties including my great uncle.

Yes many PNG natives were originally cannibals, the same as here in Aust. In fact the advancing Aust soldiers found evidence that some of the starving Japanese had also resorted to cannibalism in order to try and stay alive.

Isn’t war of any kind just the absolute pits! Instead of whole nations going to war the governments and leaders should fight it out in an arena and let the rest of us observe in safety. It’s always the few megalomaniacs that send the rest of us to war while they sit back and orchestrate.

As for poor old Biden, yesterday in a comment I said he disgusted me but today I’m more inclined to feel pity. His addled brain is pitifully embarrassing but too many Democrats are happy for him to be their stooge which is morally wrong as well as dangerous. He represents a powerful nation but he can’t put two words together sensibly. Lord, have mercy on us

An old Digger (a platoon commander )found evidence of this activity after one of his patrols were ambushed by the japs and lost two blokes . They went back later in the day and found them He said next day was to be a battallion attack and every man to take part was walked past their mates to see what these people were capable of .The attack went as planned and the japs were killed to a man with no prisoners taken It would have been a waste of breath to even suggest taking prisoners and that it was a very satisfactory result was his comment on the matter.

Canabalism was alive and well in PNG when I was flying there in 73/74 75 . I was tasked on one occasion to move nine prisoners and a constable to go from Nomad River to the kalaboose in Daru ( name for gaol ) They had killed an old lady and ate her. Canabalsm was NOT illegal but murder was . They were small people ,not above 5ft4 inches tall and in pitiful physical condition ,body covered in "grille grille "(like bad tinea )They were incarcerated for six months and returned to their village in good physical condition with their "tull tul"badge on their forehead (this indicated to the kiap that these people had been in contact with the admin ) All very well for he PNG govt to get all puffy but it more than likely still exhists today now that the Admin no longer exhists and all the kiaps have gone home . Thanks Goofy Whitless and you labor ignoramouses )

Michael Rockefeller, son of New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller, went exploring in Dutch New Guinea in 1961. His boat capsized and he and his Dutch friend swam ashore. Michael was never found, but Asmat tribesmen admitted they had captured Micheal and eaten him.

Cannibalism was still being practised in the southern part of the Northern Territory.in 2000, the year of the Sydney Olympics. A station employee was sent to visit a tribal group and arrived late in the afternoon with his swag to stay the night with Aboriginal group. He asked what was for the meal and was pointed to the fire where he saw the body of a girl of about 12 being cooked in the fire.

The last of the Aboriginals 1st saw Whites in the 1930s ( I think) and Australian explorers in 1938 in PNG went on a long trek in the highlands discovered many new tribes for the 1st time. Typically they attacked the explorers who shot a few to stop the attacks. The report of their trek and what they found was " classified ' for security reasons . This was the right decision considering the Japanese invasion just 2 years later.

This trek was documented in 1998 in a book called, The Sky Travellers by Bill Gammage.

The settlement of Sommerset near the top of Cape York in Qld was established as a refuge and safe haven for shipwrecked people if they could manage to get there to escape the cannibals.

There is lots of true history that is now politically incorrect and must not be mentioned.

Thankyou Bob and Alex for your history.

We know from the biblical record that mankind started off civilized notwithstanding Cain's murder of Abel. History has shown the horrific descent into barbarism including the "normal" practice of cannibalism, headhunting, body shape alterations and many, many other aberrations.

*Note: The ancient Babylonian religion required its priests to ceremonially eat small portions of human flesh (Alexander Hislop "The Two Babylons"). In the Chaldean language "Khan" means priest of Baal, hence Khan e Baal -- Cannibal. Transubstantiation is the official doctrine of the Catholic Church: the bread becomes literal flesh and the wine becomes blood in the communicant. Therefore: literal cannibalism is practised on a massive scale throughout the world in every civilised society!

Poor Joe has moved into ‘confabulation’ which is a neuropsychiatric disorder wherein a person generates a false memory without the intention of deceit. It is their reality.

We can accept this and go along with, to not distress a person with a dementia diagnosis.

However from the leader of the free world!!

This is extremely worrying and along with all the other times, seems to demonstrates Joe has ongoing cognitive decline. He needs to step down post haste.

I suspect he’s had ‘confabulation’ ever since he joined the senate 370 years ago

Perhaps the yanks could send Joe down there for a holiday ,no chance the locals would want to eat him (too stale )
