Just like fashion, if you wait long enough it will come back into style.

In the 1970's they predicted this ice age and in 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2018 some more "Scientists" again predicted what we see here.

It seems if you keep saying something, eventually it will happen and you will become more famous than Tim Flannery who got it all wrong.

It looks like the 2016 prediction of the ice age beginning in 2020 was right as our last couple of summers and the coming one seem to be colder than usual.

In about 1973 I remember watching a TV report on how the Great Barrier Reef would be dead in 3 years if action wasn't taken IMMEDIATELY.

Whoops it is confirmed, we are in the middle of a "climate crisis" The evidence is in. ONLY [perhaps] enough base load power for heating in summer and cooling in winter! Is anyone confident we will have enough power left over to charge our "Bowen" cars to get to woke - er sorry, [failed Caplan], WORK?

Haha, true but to much pride at stake to admit they were wrong. Anyway, they have no opposition. Now if the the Libs could get their act together and reverse Scott's decision there might be some hope.

Global warming is currently busy causing the east coast flooding! To quote Chris Bowen these floods are “the direct result of climate change”. Don’t listen to those deniers who point to the flood records which show dozens of similar floods over the past 200+ years…

I’m guessing that in about 12 months time, after a mild wet summer and another long cold winter - complete with blackouts and astronomical power prices - the government will call for an ‘amnesty’ on their climate change policies..

The people might be but the government is completely blinded to reality by ideology.

My 80 yr old mother and I were discussing this yesterday. It has been a long known fact that here in the Highlands (Bowral NSW), that you can't plant out your tomatoes until late November. So here we are today with those icy conditions once again. Lucky I have trusted my lifelong learning and kept mine protected. Otherwise I'd be seeking compensation from those greenies. Seriously though,we can love, care and respect our environment without sending ourselves bacc into the 17th century. How pretentious to believe we humans can control the weather.
