This topic came up on the TV news today with Israel calling on the UN to investigate the rape of Israeli women as a war crime. The UN with galloping inertia offered to form a committee to look into it and asked Israeli to provide evidence. Their attitude is to sit on their hands and perhaps it will all go away! How irrelevant is the UN, cut funding and be done with them.
It is a disgrace that these women's rights organisations have turned their faces from the vile assaults on Israeli women and girls. Children's organisations have also been complicit in this disgusting act of hiding the Hamas violence. We the ordinary people need to keep talking, keep sharing, keep acknowledging these women. Keep the algorithm alive for these women and keep pushing our own leaders to make some noise about it. I am so frustrated by the silence, the absence of any acknowledgement for the women and girls so brutally violated. What the hell is wrong with people that they refuse to look at what was done by Hamas. Shame on them all.
I was once told by a friend of mine that he spoke to an Israeli ex-soldier who was visiting Australia. This guy told him that Israel has nuke rockets in underground silos somewhere in the southern desert. And they gonna use them if it comes to a crunch! I also heard that Israel has one or two nuke capable submarines "up their sleeve"
It's generally accepted that Israel is a nuclear power, though they have never admitted it. And nor should they. It would start a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. Can you imagine Iran with a nuclear bomb?
(Sadly, the Biden administration seems to almost accept the fact that we will end up with that exact situation)
The West has looked the other way with regards Israel's nuclear program because it is understood that Israel must have the ability to protect itself, being completely surrounded by nations that call for its destruction.

Sadly I fear with each generation post WWII we have gotten softer and softer, never experienced any real hardships or trauma and have become totally complacent and brainwashed.
Sadly I think people of James' and my generation (I think we are the same or close enough) are sadly a dying breed as well, less and less people our age (40's-50's) care about others but care more about material stuff, with no interest in history, politics or social issues, and have sadly, due to cost of living which = lack of parenting due to both parents working full time, and higher rates of divorce, have bred a generation of weak-willed, indoctrinated and brainwashed, screen babies, who care about nothing but themselves and being famous if they can get enough likes on Tik Tok or Instagram. (Tho I doubt James' boys are screen babies tho, they have a good father!) It's a total waste. We came so far only to regress even further, it breaks my heart, I can only imagine how God feels looking down on his creation seeing it in such a mess, and people treating each other with such evil hearts!
