Dear JM Report readers,
I’m writing this at 10.30pm on Monday night, just before I head off to bed. But before I hit the hay, I wanted to say THANK YOU!
Thank you for reading my articles.
Thank you for sharing my articles with others.
Thank you for your comments that are always thought-provoking or encouraging or just downright funny. I love reading and replying to the comments. It’s been one of the unexpected joys of this project.
Thank you for confirming my belief that there are a lot of people who have retained their sanity, even as the whole world has seemingly gone mad. The JM Report has grown from my mum (thanks mum!) to a few thousand people in just a couple of months, with a few thousand more reading directly from my home page each day.
And thanks to all of you who contacted Sky News to say how much you were enjoying Rowan Dean’s new program as well as my participation in it. It made such a difference.
The producers at Sky have listened to you!
I was originally asked to be a panelist on Sky every Tuesday night, but producers said they had received so much positive feedback (that was from you!) that they now want me on every episode.
So, as of tonight, I’m on Sky Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with Rowan Dean.
At the moment the program is filling a gap left by Piers Morgan. If it continues to rate well, it will become a permanent program.
Please continue watching the show and promoting it to your friends.
The World According to Rowan Dean airs on Sky News at 9pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Once again, thanks everyone for your support. My Substack readers are the best!
Of course, it’s not about being on television for television’s sake. Three nights of Sky a week is actually a big commitment. And I fear I may need a new suit (more of that later). But it is most definitely about having influence.
Already, because of the Sky connection, some other exciting opportunities in television and radio are opening up. Stay tuned for more on those things in the next couple of months.
At the same time, I plan to soon make available podcast interviews for my Substack readers.
As well as all of that, the conversations I have had with key journalists and politicians have been quite amazing. There is a lot going on behind the scenes in people’s lives. I’m surprised (maybe I shouldn’t be) at how open prominent people are to talk about faith when there’s time for a coffee and a chat.
My goal in media is certainly to inform people about what is happening, but also to encourage people that they are not backward or stupid or bigoted for believing in God or for holding fast to traditional norms.
And, hopefully, I can give people words to express things they have been thinking but have found themselves unable to articulate because confused so many of our words and twisted so much of our vocabulary.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I appreciate every single one of you. You’ve made me feel like I’m not just doing this on my own.
Speaking of which, since you’re here, can I get you to help me with something? Now that I’m on Sky three nights a week …
Love and appreciate you all!
James
Do a combination of all three - you’ll keep it fresh (not that it’s about the clothes)
Love your morning email with my cup of tea it always brings a smile to my face even considering the often absurdity of the content ! More and more it feels like we are living in the twilight zone ! Thanks James and keep up the great work ….we need you 😊
