An article in The Australian back in 2012 told Australians to enjoy the snow because, by 2020, there may not be any ever again.
In 2017 the Sydney Morning Herald lamented the end of Australia’s ski industry …
How then to explain this week when, less than a month out from summer, there is snow on the outskirts of Sydney and police are warning motorists about icy roads?
Perhaps global warming isn’t as bad as we thought.
Wrong.
Global warming is even worse than we thought. And the snow proves it!

So good. Those not so historic headlines pronouncing the 'end of snow' were laughable then and downright side-splitingly hysterical now. Not so much the 'end of snow' as the 'end of rational thought' and the 'beginning of climate cult cognitive dissonance'.
