It is no wonder the Israelis didn’t tell the Americans about plans to kill Hasan Nasrallah until late in the operation when there was nothing the Biden Administration could do to derail it.
Biden is furious that Israel wants to knock out the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon. He says wants them to stop and demands they agree to a ceasefire.
Tens of thousands of Israelis have been displaced from their homes because of Hezbollah.
Israel has an easier time dealing with its enemies than with its friends.

People wonder why a ground invasion of Lebanon is necessary …
THEN …
Here’s three reasons.
First, Israel has to ensure Hezbollah terrorists and assets are completely cleared out of the area on their border. Otherwise it will never be safe for the 70,000 displaced Israelis to return to their homes.
Second, not everything can be destroyed from the air. It is believed Hezbollah have extensive tunnels close to the Israel border where weapons are being hid and in which terrorists are sheltering.
Finally, prior to October 7 nobody thought Israel would ever launch a ground offensive in Gaza, and certainly not in Lebanon. But October 7 changed everything, and Israeli’s enemies need to know that.

They would be branded a racist and a bigot by almost every media outlet and every member of Parliament. Cultural relativism is orthodoxy in this nation despite all evidence to the contrary that can easily be seen every weekend at anti-Israel protests. We really do have a death wish.

New Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati cries on national television about the plight of his people and promises he “will deal with anyone for the sake of Lebanon’s interest, with the exception of Israel, of course” …

He has proved himself to be just another Religion of Peace adherent who hates Jews more than he loves his own children.
And as for his promise to implement UN Resolution 1701 to keep Hezbollah back from the Israeli border, why wasn’t this done 20 years ago? Now, it’s too late.

No other group in our culture is as vague and opaque about what they actually believe than the church.
And the church is supposed to be the pillar of truth.
Which party’s politicise are anti human dignity? Could the Catholic Bishops be referring to the Labor Party’s liberal abortion laws and extreme gender identity laws?
Who knows? We have to guess at what they mean.
You’d think that if you are going to make a statement on something as fundamentally important as human dignity it would be worth being crystal clear as to what it is you are talking about.

In Israel's northern section, dozens of cement trucks are pouring concrete into tunnels and shafts dug by Hezbollah and aimed at sites crossing from Lebanon into Israel.
The Israeli's have hardened their border and come up with a concrete plan to cement relations with their enemy. Shares in the stock market have also firmed as the IDF have rio-enforced all Border Crossings. Hezbollah, however, have remained set in their way.
