Oh no Rouen cathedral on fire. we were there last clear. Such a beautiful church. Such a lovely city. It is the home of the church commemorating Jeanne D'Arc as well. It was probably Islamist. Many Churches have been burned in France.

We deliberately didn’t go on an excursion to the Normandie war graves etc to spend a day extra in Rouen. The bus ride with old sick vaxxed to the hint hooray American harries was just too much to contemplate. Americans really do live in a bubble of their own creation. They really believe that they saved the world. So an extra day looking properly at Rouen was lovely.
