It used to be that people said they would believe it if they see it like Thomas. We can only see a very limited spectrum of light and our brains fill in gaps for coherency. CGI exploits our weaknesses. I think if we could see all around us we could not contain it. It is probably best we see through a glass dimly. We are being fooled daily and don't realise it. It can be amusing to see our gullibility or just devestating seeing our world decieved on many levels.
I read that they used CGI holograms to make people see a plane crashing into the twin towers on 9/11 while they detonated the explosives that caused them to collapse in an engineered way.
The purpose was to blame terrorists, start wars and take away freedoms and so far they have succeeded even though no traces of plane parts were ever found and one building fell without any sign of a plane hitting it.
