I’m sure this together with numerous other plans will be debated...the Israelis are smart intelligent people....they will never ever let this opportunity go...at least they stand as one!! They have my full administration and respect...may God protect them!!

Strategy makes sense..

Sounds like a very practical as well as a tactical plan.

Probable won’t satisfy everyone but to me as an ex soldier, it makes sense.

The tunnels are well equipped and are the key to defeating the terrorists. No one is asking Hamas to ceasefire when they are firing rockets at Israel. The United Nations has become the United Nutters if they trust Hamas to follow rules and respect Israel instead of committing genocide against them and their own people. When they run out of fuel and the lights and air conditioners go out in the tunnels then they might regret what they’ve done.

Yes. But how safe are the hostages. They will suffer first if they are still alive.

It’s a tough call because Hamas are using them as a bargaining weapon but the United Nations is silent about their treatment. Are the terrorists changing nappies?

I bet not. Whatever Israel does will be condemned.

Any aid that goes to Gaza is stockpiled by the fighters and put into the tunnels. I don’t imagine they are sharing with Jewish hostages.

They must defeat Hamas. I don’t trust Naftali Bennet.

There is no other course of action as far as I can see. No one wants the Arabs from Gaza - Egypt have closed the border. No one will except maybe the stupid west will want to offer asylum. If one side doesn’t really want peace. There is no negotiation.

I am a bit sceptical of Bennet. He was a very ineffective PM. He did not seem to be able to make a coalition that worked.

Remember the hostages are in those tunnels and they will be the first to feel the wrath of the Arabs trapped in those tunnels. They will, if they haven’t been killed already will be used as levers.

Bennet could have done something about the tunnels but he didn’t.

Like rats in a drain. It won't be long before they start attacking each other.

We can only hope👍

Underestimating Hamas is what got them into this situation. Bennet plays political games. He could have fixed this situation as PM.

The world has underestimated Hamas and the terrorist groups....in fact the West has become quite anaesthised to the hatred and despise held by most Middle Eastern countries toward us...it’s about time we stood up and held firm in our beliefs...religious and morally in this country

Fatah has joined in too. Jews on the left bank have been brutally murdered. Fatah celebrated Hamas’s actions. The ordinary Arabs in Gaza support Hamas and murdering Jews. Many of them went over the border where Hamas encroached and joined in the murdering and raping.

Blocking the tunnels is a thought. Naphtali Bennett seems like a really switched on man

Not such a great PM- he wasn’t able to do much when he was PM.

I have always admired Benjamin Netanyahu, but I saw Naphtali Bennett on Sky the other night and he made a lot of sense

Bennet is a player. He shared power with Yair Lapid and probably should be PM now but couldn’t get their coalition going. They were both ineffective. The system is Israel is very bad. David Ben Gurion warned the Ashkenazi Jews who set it up after independence that majority government would become impossible. Too European and too much proportional representation so that deals have to struck with very minor groups. He and Yair Lapid actually had the Israeli Arab party in their coalition. Now you think that that would be the perfect moment to deal with Hamas and Fatah in a political way. But alas they couldn’t control their coalition partners and Bibi and his conservative groups were re-elected.

I don’t know what Bennet’s stand on the court reforms were. That would be instructive.

Yes, I followed them during their tenure

Wow, what a mind this man has! I haven’t yet got time to read it properly and digest it but I just had to say THIS IS ONE VERY SMART PERSON!!! God bless him!

Mmm- Bennet wasn’t smart enough to stay as PM when he had the chance or to do anything meaningful when be was PM.

I don’t know much about Bennet or his time as PM but perhaps he has matured as a leader? Those poor hostages are I don’t think going to survive under any circumstances and they could now easily already be dead. It’s a shocking situation! No one really wins but that’s war.

The Israelis have to do something and Bennet’s plan seems as good as any. The conflict could last for years and if atomic warfare occurs, we’re all in big trouble. If I think about it anymore I won’t sleep tonight.🙏🏻✝️

It will never end till one side wins. It needs to be Israel.

And it will be Israel...make no bones about it!!

I pray so. Bit tired of some of the Christian sites and their weak reactions to all this. It reminded me of the churches and Christian’s’ non action in Nazi Germany. Thank goodness fir sone of the American Christian groups on the ground giving aid and succour to the Israelis.
