There are two questions #1 What have we (us Aussies) got, that the Aboriginals do not have.?

#2 What have the Aboriginals got that (us Aussies) do not have?

Only one way to fix this problem. Take back wat we gave them, make us all equal all Aussies.

Nothing to do with being RACIST let us all be Aussies. Let's forget the past like we did with Japan bombing Darwin like world war one and two, we cannot live in the past lets unite help each other and live as one, all Aussies.

Okay it’s about power however I know that the govt needs the people much more than we need them!

Ok more about power and no one needs this irrelevance

Thanks, James and others for pointing out the ludicrous situation that we are now in. I still can't get over the fact that we all come from Adam, the man that God created from red dirt and the Father of all humanity. Because of this there is only one race, that being the human race. What we are dealing with now is the classic fallout of Cain vs Abel and the destruction that results. Just think, if everybody realised their true heritage and identity.

There are, God has promised to supply the needs of His elect people (the Church) and so it does not matter if I live or die, there will always be someone to do what they need to know the truth and the truth will set you free.

exactly! You only have to ask the real aboriginal elders and they will confess that they do not own land, but the land owns them. Get lots of them and you have enough witnesses to establish it as their law.

That is why they don't talk about the original animistic beliefs of the aboriginals because they never claimed to own any land, so they should never make any claims of ownership now.

It is just not in their culture / religion.

They are using our Christian, free market, work ethic ideas, without the work, (we believe in land ownership not serfdom) for the aboriginals so they can steal our land, make us all poor so we will own nothing and be happy in the NWO when they build back better. See Red over Black about how the Communists are using native title to destroy us.

I wonder what would happen if native title was claimed on Elbow Easy's home?

Seems to me that Albo and his ilk are the enemy within. Our ship "Australia" is heading for the rocks with Captain Albo at the wheel.

James, the local cemetery you mentioned is Cleveland Cemetery. This is where my mother's mother and my mother's sister are buried! Grandma (My mother's mother) would roll over in her grave at the thought of this! There are also Queensland leaders and pioneers of significance buried in that cemetery.

But hey, apparently when it comes to sacred sites - unless it's an 'Indigenous sacred site', it doesn't matter. And if this Voice gets through, I'll probably end up having to pay a fee and needing a permit just to be able to visit the grave of my deceased loved ones!

You have hit the nail on the head again James.

As an aboriginal elder and an Australian citizen I bought the land I live on from the previous owner. I now own this land legally under Australian law. I look after the land as it also owns me as the native caretaker. I do not want to introduce racism to our "We are one" country. I want peace, not war. A treaty is between warring parties. Claiming land that is not yours legally is attempted theft.

With our adversarial legal system and legal aid for the very wealthy aboriginal elites, unless you can outspend your own government you might as well give in now and save what money you have left.

see Legal aid p. 173 in pdf (165 on the book page numbers) and all the other legalese lawyers can use to strip you of money while they keep the courts busy with their claims in the index.

We should use the European investigative system where they seek truth, not a fight.

First we need to go back to our belief that the land owns us, we are responsible for looking after it along with the native plants and animals. We never owned any land. We protected it from destruction by other tribes who were not owned by that land, but that is all it was. These native people can still protect the land that owns them by seeking representation on the local councils to make sure it is protected properly.

Peter, there should be more like you.

If the land owns the aboriginal people, then land claims by aboriginals for the purpose of ownership with resulting benefits obtained from non-aboriginals, are complete nonsense!

Expand full comment

I am glad you could see my point.

Of course this is not true, it is just the animistic faith that was part of aboriginal culture before white immigration that they have misused to make all these land claims. They are nonsense when you know the beliefs.

Expand full comment

So, if it were legally established that the belief of the land owning the people - aboriginal culture being a sacred cow - then would that preclude any land claims being made by aboriginals?

As a Christian I must disagree with your understanding that the land owns you, but agree with the rest of your comments about peace, theft, working to buy land that you live on and that we are responsible for caring for the land and what lives on it.

The Christian understanding is that God, the Creator of the whole universe, made everything, including each of us humans. He loves us and cares for all of His creation. "The earth is the Lords and everything in it". As people made in the image of a God who loves us and wants a relationship with us, he tells us how to live. We are appointed as stewards of his creation. This means we are to manage, care for and made fruitful, the parts of the earth that we are temporarily (we live short lives, then die) given to care for. As a farmer I often think about this and each decade that I and my family have "owned" "our" land (it belongs to God) we have managed to increase its fertility, despite making some bad management decisions over the decades and while trying to survive financially, insane govt decisions and weather trials, like droughts.

Did you see Andrew Bolts report (Sky News) on the decision that the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Australia made on Thursday re welcome to country, spiritual values and the interview with Rev Mark Powell tonight? It was a long discussion with lots of speakers but I agreed with the statement adopted.

As a biblical believer I totally agree with you and Andrew / Presbyterian church GA. I was only stating the common aboriginal beliefs that seem to have been ignored by our governments and these aboriginal representatives who seem to be working for the UN to cause division and steal our resources through these policies. Of course the aboriginal representatives are Communists who want the money and have no concern for the people or the land. Governments need to stay out of private businesses and the red tape they put on what we can do with our own land.

I am inclined to comment here, James, but don't quite know what to say. This will open a Pandora's box of claims, counter claims and litigations. I can't help feeling like the tables have been turned and we are now experiencing what the Aboriginal Australians feel about territories being taken away from them! The Voice has stirred up quite a venomous stew and we are slowly boiling over an insatiable fire! I don't like the outcome. I'm definitely voting 'NO' now!

Does this sound familiar? A "vexatious" claim or complaint is one being pressed specifically to cause harassment, annoyance, frustration, worry, or even bring financial cost (such as the engagement of a defence lawyer) to their defendant or respondent. Think about it;The aboriginal councils have announced they will back off on their frivolous, divisive, "claims" if the Whitey's can find a twelve letter word that means obstructive. The Whitey's think that is "unreasonable".😃

Albo showing fairness again to Aussies... oops no-just adding to the pitiful claim of the "woe is me, I am an Aborigine". Please fill in the dots " I was born in ...... and came to Australia with nothing- no land , no money, no clothes, no job. I found a job, bought some clothes, worked hard and bought a house. I am grateful for what this country has done for me..." Who can't say that? Guess!
