This is a much held view in the ABC.They read their charter to offer a balanced view of events as not necessarily giving "equal time" to opposing views. Their idea of balance (as verbalised by Ms Virginia Triole, the previous darling of ABC News breakfast) was to offer a news service which "balanced" the view offered by the other Channels (and especially that far-right News Limited channel) This thinking was backed up by a recent complaint made on the unbalanced presentation of the overturning of Roe V Wade. The ABC coverage of the pro-abortion mob was in the ratio of 3:1 to the coverage of the pro-life supporters. Their response to the complaint? At first they denied any imbalance but when I timed the news segment in question and gave actual figures, they said this (quote)"Thank you for your email. The editorial standards do not require that each perspective receives equal time, only that over time all significant perspectives are presented. We believe we have achieved that." Note the term "significant"- that's a subjective term and can be manipulated in many ways.They may consider an issue which those of us with a Judea-Christian world view may consider highly significant but which the ABC editorial board (stacked with progressives) may not. As a tax-payer funded organisation, they must present a balanced view point. They're not there to balance the full spectrum of news presented and "equal up" what they consider biased reporting by the commercials.

Perhaps that's why PBs are in decline? Interestingly lesbian polar bears would cease to exist if they let their cubs believe this. When will PBs be let in to the ABC to explain as they gnaw on their creative department, explaining that they are more interested in survival than being maligned by a pathetic cartoons and wokeisms.

The word on the street is actually, one of Penny polar bears lesbian mothers is actually a brown bear that identifies as a polar bear... true story. 
I also didn’t see anything in the news about the imminent name change in “Queensland” transitioning to “KINGSLAND”. I think the ABC should run a poll on this and make this happen as well 
Funnily enough two parents of whom one is man and the other is woman is normal. These other lots are cranks, perverts and just plain abnormal as is attested by their proportion of the general population. If they had gone near my kid all those years ago death would have been kinder than what I would have done to them. We can’t get enough of Queenie she was the mostest.
