I can assume most of them will be Holocaust stories, I checked and here are some titles - The Girl in the GReen Sweater - Holocaust, Dead Sea Scrolls, They Thought They had more Time - David Jones, Beyond the Crushing Waves, an amazing story of English children sent to NSW to work as slaves at Fairbridge Farm, Assault on the Image of God by David Fiorazo just to name a few. I keep getting more and more and never getting to the end of the list! There are so many good reads around. So thank you James, I will get some of the ones you have mentioned
The non-fiction book "Auschwitz" by Dr. Miklos Nyiszli, a Hungarian prisoner, describes his time as an assistant to Dr. Josef Mengele, the 'Angel of Death'. This is the most gripping account of the hell of Auschwitz I ever read. The movie "The Grey Zone" is based on Dr. Nyiszli's eye-witness account. The movie is also available on DVD.
I have read the Auschwitz one, but I don’t think I have seen that movie, I will look it up. From a very early age, it worried me as to how I would have been if I had lived in that time. As a Christian, I know now, but as a young person, it concerned me. Would I have been a member of Hitler youth? It didn’t occur to me then, that I would have been among those rounded up with the amount of Jewish I have in my DNA. But I have always had a strong leaning toward what happened to the Jews of that time and the horror they endured
There is a series written by an Israeli Author, Jonathan Dunsky about an Auschwitz survivor, Adam Lapid set in Israel after the war of independence who has been a detective in Hungary and was sent to Auschwitz and managed to get to Israel. It’s interesting to see the history of the modern state of Israel, good mysteries too.

They look good, I have all of Amir Tsarfati's novels as well, they are very suspenseful
The novels The Tattooist and the The Photographer of Auschwitz are great too. The one about a baby born in Auschwitz is good too.
Yes, they are hard to put down, I have both of those
The movie also shows the rebellion in crematorium 4 and the girl who survived the gas chamber, but her eventual death is different in the movie.
